The wife and I tried this place for the first time. I've known about this lounge because of my son,…read morebut he and I never made it here. Don't tell him I went without him :) Anyway, I'm glad the wife and I gave it a try. We walked in at 5:30 on a Friday and it was busy. We didn't wait but for a few minutes and had a table. The greeter was very friendly and our server was super nice and pleasant to have as a waiter. His recommendations were spot on. The whole restaurant was hopping busy but operating very smoothly. Not a quiet place, a true sports bar ambiance. The wings were very very good. Maybe some of the better ones I've had here in town. The gyro was fantastic, and huge. Great value. The wife's flatbread was great too. Excellent food all the way around. Prices for very reasonable. Happy hour helps some of the prices for sure, but still a well priced establishment. We are fans of this place and will most certainly be back.

Holy crap! Talk about a hidden gem! Being set a little back off of 100th in Urbandale and just a…read morecouple blocks North of Douglas... It's not exactly literally hidden. I just don't see a lot of marketing about this place. Tito's has been on my list for a little while. I've looked at their menu online several times. Everything looked great; I just hadn't made the time. Tito's opened in November of 2021 and specializes in Mediterranean and Balkan cuisine. Tito's is part of the strip of businesses. There's a large adjacent parking lot. They have a small outdoor patio in front. Seating inside is mostly high top tables and chairs and bar stools at the bar. There may have been a couple low tops and booth and chair combinations available too... We were greeted right away when we walked in. We picked a seat along the North wall and Britney, our server, introduced herself and helped us through their drink menu. I probably misspelled her name. and I couldn't find my receipt... Lol it was Saturday evening so there were games running on all the TVs. The food menu is large and includes appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, flatbreads, pizzas, their signature Mediterranean and Balkan items (cevapi, gyros, skewers, pljeskavica, etc), pastas, soups and salads, sides and even dessert items (including tiramisu). We ordered the following: 1x Firecracker shrimp 1x Steak quesadilla 1x Diablo pasta with chicken 1x Side of fries... 2x Big Grove Summer Jam sour 1x Tequila sunrise 1x fountain drink (Pepsi products) As far as lounges or bar and grills go this might be some of the best food I've had across the entire metro...! EVERYTHING was so good! Even the fries... They had that finish where you almost feel like they've been slightly battered and then double fried. Extremely crispy and hot, fresh, right out of the fryer. A lot of times when fries cool down...they lose their edge...and I'd rather just leave them sit after that. Not these. Still crispy even towards the end of the meal! The FIrecracker shrimp was heavily breaded. Not something I can say I've had before... Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of this dish, but most of the time it's very lightly breaded or even sauteed. Doesn't really matter... The crunch of the breading made for a great contrast in texture and worked well with the sauce. It was delicious! My friend really enjoyed their steak quesadilla and the Diablo pasta was off the chain! So good! Not too hot, but it has a kick... Definitely rivals some of the more well know Italian spots who serve a variation of this also...! It looks like they have daily specials, a trivia night, and offer a weekend brunch. The online menu v. the table menu does differ slightly. I found the online menu is missing some items (like the Diablo pasta). Britney was personable and friendly. Very attentive for as busy as they were. Couldn't have asked for a better server! Definitely someplace I will look forward to revisiting! And if you haven't visited Tito's yet... You should! https://titosloungeia.com/

We came here to see a band we like (Sister Sarah)…read more This place is conveniently located just off the interstate and in a shopping center. We are told it used to be a bank, but we checked the vault and sadly no money was left there for us... There are multiple entrances to use - Front, back side... It looks like the locals use the front, and the band lovers use the other doors...just an observation. The bar is very large and double sided which makes it super accessible There is lots of seating and entertainment to be had. Darts, and Pool tables and televisions - they move the pool tables aside and cover them so the band can play and so there is more dance floor. They respectfully shut the music off and the TVs down while the band plays too - nice touch! We were able to walk up to the bar and get nicely priced drinks served very quickly despite how busy they were. All of the employees were very friendly and accomodating. Food looks like it is limited to the frozen pizza, but hey better than nothing. (There are multiple options just outside the front door if you want other food) The place is large and there is pent of room to accomodate a large crowd, and still room to dance! (Maybe next time) It is still obvious it used to be a bank, but it works for a bar. They should turn the Vault into a VIP room! We will keep an eye out for our favorite bands playing here. PRO TIP: Conveniently enough you can also get here using only back roads.

Upon entry we were surrounded by very intoxicated men who had no issue staring right down my shirt. One of them even asked "Am I scaring you? Are you uncomfortable?" in earshot of the bartenders while I was simply trying to order a drink. There was also a woman who very obviously should have been cut off 2 drinks ago who grabbed my partner multiple times around the waist. As if that weren't bad enough, one of the bartenders made it seem like I was underage and scratched at my ID (I am 23, born in 2002) then glared at me throughout the night. I guess I can't totally blame the establishment for the clientele, but the GROWN MEN here were incredibly touchy and had no problem tickling (yes, tickling) and grabbing my arms/shoulders near the dance floor. It's really unfortunate going to a bar that doesn't care about their younger female customers. If you are a woman in her 20s I would not recommend coming here, atleast for live music.

Most of the seating here seemed to be targeted towards large groups so there wasn't a ton of option for a party of 2. We did not have a reservation so there was only 1 high top area that was honestly super uncomfortable. I would recommend making a reservation if you want a chance to sit at one of the lower chair areas. The biggest issue was the service. It took over 20 minutes for anyone to come over and take our drink order. This is a newer spot so I'm hopeful things can improve. It was super loud and not the most inviting space. Some of the seating was a bit awkward with spacing. The drinks were small but I would expect that for a higher end cocktail. For DSM, I did think some of the drinks seemed a bit expensive. The drinks were okay but seemed pretty weak where they were super juice heavy. Overall I would probably not come back unless I had friends who haven't been and wanted to try it. Super bummed as I do think there is potential here but need to work through some of these issues.

Somebody will ask you how many people in your party and then open the wall pantry. This will lead to the stair that goes downstairs to the basement. Bar lighting is dim, intimate feel. There's bar seating, high tops, tables that accommodate large parties and VIP room that has a curtain for privacy. We ordered cocktails that were unique crafted. Bathroom is available, hallway of pictures of people dressed in the 1920s all over the wall. We enjoyed this speakeasy bar and will definitely come back with more people.
