I Love Dr Luchanok but the overall experience has gone drastically downhill since they've merged with Lahey. 15 minutes on hold only to learn that they can't help me and I have to call a third-party record vendor, who also couldn't help. But Dr. Luchanok is very thorough and really good at what he does. read more

I've just spoken to the most miserable, unhelpful, uncooperative, downright rude front desk person ever. To think that this person has a say in interactions with clearly wonderful medical staff is beyond belief; she, a clearly uneducated fool, is second guessing professionals. read more

I've reviewed this practice on Google as well, and I have to agree with a lot of the comments seen here. I have been pleased with the doctors here, but the communication is lacking. For example, when calling the office, you have to leave a message for the receptionists to call you back. There was a lot of difficulty in getting prescriptions figured out, again because of a lack of communication. I ended up leaving the practice to find something that suited my personality and needs better. read more

My husband saw Dr. Uladzimir Luchanok M.D. after his stroke and loves him! He hates Dr's and said he is the best! He takes the time to explain everything and my husband loves that. It was tough to get a call back from the front staff, I kept leaving messages and Med recs that were requested took a very long time, but not sure if it was the fault of the sender or the receiver. Finally got in and Dr. Luchanok was worth it. Waiting for a call for testing, per the advice of the Dr. still waiting from his last appt. in mid March it is now almost April....so staff is terrible, Dr.'s are great. We shall see about the staff now that Lahey took over (only been 3 xs so far, 2 xs in Derry and 1 x in new location) I have to call anyway and I will ask about test. New location was great, new staff etc. I was reading the bad reviews and they were mostly for the front desk staff and not for the doctors read more

Had two experiences with them across a number of years and both times the care and service was horrible and incompetent. Avoid this practice. read more

The doctor's here could be better, as I was just sent to another; but the office staff are very rude and you can't even reach the office when you try. You only get automation and never get a call back! Worst experience ever I better not get charged for a missed appointment, as I called to cancel an appointment 2 weeks ahead, spoke to your answering service at your lunch hour but then still received an appointment reminder???? Makes no sense if you communicate with your answering service staff. read more

Dr Rescigno is fantastic. He is very smart, takes his time to explain the process of the procedures. Great to talk to, and knows his trade. Front desk help was fine, no issues. Highly recommended. read more

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Luchanok for almost two years. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had the privilege of being associated with. I find him extremely intelligent, personable and very compassionate. He actually LISTENS and it is obvious that he cares - an unusual and much appreciated blend of head and heart. I never feel rushed in an assembly line atmosphere and never feel that I am offered the standard cookie cutter recommendations. He does a deep dive seeing and treating us as unique individuals taking the time to be very thorough in all that he does. We especially appreciate the time he takes to teach the underlying process of the medical condition and the reason he recommends what he recommends. read more

After giving my review, I got a threat telling me to take it down. I guess the office can't take the truth, which is Resigno is a horrible neurologist that failed to diagnosis me! He just blew me off saying I had epilepsy. There are underlying reason for epilepsy. I went to Mass General where they diagnosed me with a rare autoimmune condition called anti NMDA encephaliti. I woke up with the paramedics standing over me and brought to the hosp and was transferred to MGH where they promptly diagnosed me and followup with me often. The docs call or respond promptly without having the nurse do it. They truly care. if you want the best care in the country, go to Mass General in Boston. read more

Dr.Lukanok is the smartest person I've ever met and he doesn't want to just rest you, he wants to know the why and that's what makes him a good doctor and the fact that he's super funny, personable, and welcoming. read more

I've been going to Derry Neuro since I was 12 years old (well over 10 years) for migraines. Dr. Resicgno has been thoughtful and careful with each medicine we have tried, and he always takes the time to talk about the gruesome details and really get to the heart of what my migraines feel like, what I need ona day to day basis, and what I need when they begin. Both my dad and sister see him for chronic migraines as well and he's found individualized treatments for each of us that have worked for years. However, for the past 3-4 years I've had so much trouble booking appointments, speaking with reception staff when i call, and getting prescriptions filled timely that I've been forced to go months without my prescriptions at times. For a person who gets migraines weekly, sometimes daily, this means i have to frequently call out of work or miss events with friends or family. The reception staff at Derry Neuro is rude, unaccomodating, and unsympathetic. After moving to Boston, i continued to try to make appointments because of my loyalty to Dr. Resicgno but each time I called the receptionists either didn't pick up the phone or said they were booked out 6 months. I finally got an appointment for the very next day in a last ditch effort to make an appointment but the hour and a half drive north was delayed because of traffic. I called ahead to say I was 10 minutes away and to apologize for running late- the receptionist assured me it was fine and that Dr. Resicgno was running late himself. I got there 15 minutes after the appointment and they told me I needed to book a new appointment because they have a 15 minute rule. I ended up driving the 1.5 hours home for nothing. If they had a different reception staff with more accommodating rules and a more patient friendly culture I might be more inclined to stay but I've chosen to go with a new neurologist. read more

Uladzimir Luchanok M.D. is the best neurologist I have been too. I seeked him out do to my seizures and other doctors not wanting to help me use better meds. He listened carefully and i have been seizure free for years now because of him and I don't have to take seizure meds that make you feel horrible. The meds are levetiracitam (keppra) and divalproex sodium ER 24 HR. If you can get him as you neuro doc, do it! read more

The doctors here are great they explain everything they are doing, why they are doing it and the results. If I only had to deal with the doctors here I would give this place 5 stars. The Manager however here is the worst, doesn't care about patients and is all about the bottom line. read more

Dr luchanok was fine but the other staff are morons. I never got my prescriptions renewed because they didn't return my calls for months. Then I had an issue with a medication and asked about it and they wanted to do a sleep study. I had already done one through them 2 months before! The lady who told me this said she would talk to Dr L. She then called me and said they found the record of my sleep study and then told me the result that I already went over at my last appointment. She did not offer another suggestion. Wasted a year and a half of my life for only 2 months of medications. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this office. Ive seen Dr Rescigno for several years and he is awesome - he asked lots of really relevant questions that many other doctors missed, he was realistic about what was and wasn't possible or useful, and he pinpointed a good prescription combo that resolved my issues as well as nailed the underlying causes/ diagnosis. He's also friendly and pleasant to talk to. I would give Dr Rescigno 5 stars. However, the front desk staff is bad enough that I plan to find a new doctor just so I don't have to deal with them anymore. Hence only 2 stars overall. They're rude, dismissive, disorganized, give out misinformation, and are slow to respond. I once went months without a prescription because I couldn't get an appointment with him before it ran out and the front desk staff wouldn't allow a temp Rx renewal to be called in, they said it was against policy even though Id been on the same regimen for years, and I don't take anything strong/ nothing addictive, etc. When it came up in my appointment that I'd been struggling for months without meds the doctor was shocked, said there was no such policy. read more

You may have better luck with other doctors, but Rind is condescending, rude, full of himself and doesn't listen. He just likes to tell you how smart he is and give the same shots to everyone, he probably gets a nice kickback. After having bad reactions, he told me I was wrong and there's no side effects. He's a jerk. read more

The doctors are so compassionate and great at what they do. It isn't always easy to get an appointment and when you go you may have to wait a while but that is because the docs take their time. I took off a star because one of the receptionists has such a thick accent and not so good customer service. Not sure if it is a language barrier but she is not pleasant, has a rude personality, and half the time you can barely understand what she is saying. Other than her I love the staff. read more

Asshole reception staff threw me outta the practice after agreeing to take me back I told them I could not make it to an appointment as I was in a safe house at the time no compassion just plain rude doctors are great office staff is worthless read more

Dr. Rind is the worst doctor I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. He is extremely rude, unprofessional and careless of your problems. I waited a few months for a call back to schedule an appointment and this should have been a sign to stay away. During my visit he would not let me ask any questions in fact whenever I went to ask something he would put his hand up and just say "stop" this happened at least 4 times during my half hour visit. I informed him that I did not like taking medications due to dependency issues running in my family. This information became a joke to him. At one point while talking about a possible prescription plan he said to me "don't worry this drug isn't going to get you high" how rude can one person be? I had gotten upset a few times during our visit out of pure frustration and when I finally told him he was being rude and not listening to me he then offered to let me ask questions. At this point I was just done with dealing with such a terrible person that I left the office upset with no answers. I am now waiting on an appointment with a different neurologist. Please do yourself a favor and just STAY AWAY from this doctor/office. read more
