A cocoon and oasis to relax not too far off the main street of the oldest German city. Whether you go here with friends or your special someone, it is a perfect location to let routines be routines - and enjoy a level of customer service that is rare in such establishments in Germany (but also in Luxembourg). The range of items on the menu is, well, very chocolatey and diverse! For instance, you can get hot chocolate with raspberry and blueberry flavour, white chocolate, to name just a few. Plus, there are lots of cakes, crêpes and other small somethings to suit every taste under the sun. The one thing that really strikes me about "Suite au Chocolat" is the knowledge and passion that the employees bring to their work. It is evident that they possess an in-depth awareness of all things chocolate, thus leaving customers with not merely a high level of service, but also an experience of sorts. It was ok, but when the door opened it got pretty chilly. The online menu did not match what was available in the location, but with how things are it makes sense they would limit. We were able to make it work and the cappuccino was made perfectly. Nice, clean quiet place to stop and enjoy some conversation with friends and family.

Jeff de Bruges is a renowned French chocolatier with a series of shoppes throughout France. The cocoa is sourced sustainably and social responsible from their plantains in Ecuador. The clerks were friendly and let him taste a chocolate before he bought the box. The chocolates taste amazing with intense chocolate flavor. The filled chocolates are delicate and beautiful. The solid chocolate is delicious, especially the dark chocolate. I wholeheartedly recommend Jeff de Bruges chocolate.

We selected a nice marzipan-filled milk chocolate log kind of thing & purchased a decorative box to bring back for family The marzipan log was okay - the almond flavor was very subtle & I am thinking the dark chocolate would have been a better pairing.....and they had that on offer so I'll put it to the test next time The decorative box never made it to the family - I just couldn't resist the cute houses, doggies and foiled chocolates in both dark and milk varieties. We found this shop via another on-line review. When we walked and looked around, we said to…read moreourselves, "where are the macaroons?" We looked and looked and didn't see any so we turned around and walked out. There in the window we saw boxes of macaroons. So we headed right back in to find those darn macaroons. Turns out this shop only sells boxed "sets" of macaroons and there's only one flavor - naturale. The macaroons are large and not the traditional filled cookies that we're used to. I think we paid € 7.80 for 10 or 12 macaroon cookies. A good deal. And these are nice and crispy on the outside and chewy/gooey on the inside. Perfect cookies. So if you want a great deal on non-colored/filled macaroons, this is the shop to visit!
