I had the carrot lox wrap. The texture was not lox at all, but the flavor was actually Smokey and tasted like salmon not sure how they did that. The veggies inside tasted really good as well. The vegan creamy dressing was a bit watery but tasted good. My friend had the vegan fried chicken wrap. Not sure what the vegan meat is supposed to be but it tasted pretty good. They also have a variety of pastries which is apparently what they're known for but we didn't try them. The drinks were great as well. I loved my golden milk latte. Service was friendly and pretty quick even though they make everything from scratch. The neighborhood that the cafe is in is really trendy and cool. Feels super local and you won't see nearly as many tourists here compared to the crowded areas of the city.

We had one chocolate cake (cherries on the bottom than baked-doughy-sponge with chocolate chips and chocolate on top) It was delicious, really big piece for good price;around 3€! And the second was also a cake (similar sponge with more cherries on the bottom, cream and chocolate on top) I also recommend the iced chocolate and iced coffee. The chocolate is especially delicious! We also asked about their vegan ice-cream but sadly they didn't have it that day. This café is for anyone looking for a quiet, friendly vegan place with great cakes for reasonable prices.

Great little spot with an amazing menu! We happened to be staying right around the corner from this…read morespot at an airbnb, and noticed it one night while coming back from the old quarter by tram. It was closed, but looking in through the windows, and reading some of the menu written on the windows, it seemed worthy of at least a cup of coffee. We went back the next morning and had a full breakfast. I ordered the vegan and gluten free banana pancakes with a mint tea (fresh mint leaves in hot water), and my hubs ordered 2 poached eggs on sourdough with salmon and a coffee. Everything was delicious. The pancakes were a little more dense than I had imagined, but were full of flavor, and the apple-cinnamon-vanilla compote and fruit were a nice fresh and light compliment. I especially loved the presentation with each piece of fruit (melon, pineapple, kiwi, grapefruit and husk cherry) all stuck-through with a skewer to keep them together. My husband thought the bread had a great flavor and texture, the portion of salmon was generous, the poached eggs were perfect, and the hollandaise sauce was also tasty. We were very happy. Since the next day after that was our last morning in Dresden, and we wanted to make sure we had a good meal before our long train ride back to Frankfurt, we visited a second time. This time I had the poached eggs on sourdough, but with mushrooms, and the hubs had poached eggs on sourdough with ham. Both were very good, but we agreed we liked our combos the first day better. Still, the food quality was fresh, presentation and atmosphere were lovely, and we really liked the fact that they put a lot of effort into offering options for those with food allergies and intolerances. We would definitely recommend this place, and next time we are in Dresden, we will visit again!

This place has all options you can wish for plus more. This place is easily reachable with the two tram stops right in front. Unlike other reviewers, we only waited 5-10 min for our food on a busy Sunday morning. Ambient is nice, good music, and all staff was friendly. I absolutely don't mind the self-service, since that makes everything faster. You get a pager that indicates when your food is ready - no yelling whatsoever. Saw plenty of families and people of all ages. Highly recommend!

I first visited Raskolnikoff years ago when I was living and working in Germany, and it's stuck…read morewith me ever since. Tucked into the heart of Dresden's Neustadt, Raskolnikoff doesn't try to charm you with glossy signage or polished storefronts. In fact, you might walk past it entirely if you weren't paying attention--its graffiti-covered exterior and slightly crumbling facade blend right into the neighborhood's gritty, post-Soviet aesthetic. But don't let that fool you. That's not decay--it's atmosphere. Head down the narrow staircase and you'll find what feels like a secret--and to some extent, it is. But then you step inside, and it all makes sense. Dimly lit, intimate, and full of character, Raskolnikoff is a true Eastern European hideaway. It feels like a Dostoevsky novel with a wine list. I ordered the Pelmeni-Mix--pillowy dumplings, each bite giving way to tender fillings and comfort. It was the kind of dish that makes you slow down and savor. My friend had the Borscht, which came out piping hot, bold and earthy with that sweet-savory beet richness that warms you from the inside out. Everything felt homemade and honest. Raskolnikoff isn't just a place to eat--it's an experience. A quiet little time capsule, hidden behind graffiti and a worn staircase. But once you're inside, you're part of something old, soulful, and wonderfully human.
