480 Campton St. Ely, NV is the address for this DMV. This has been the Ely DMV location for the last few years. Yelp has the wrong address for this DMV. Today 5/29/25 I had a very good experience, registering a number of vehicles at the Ely DMV. I would like to Thank the State technician. I worked with name Brianna. She was very polite, professional, and articulate. Her supervisor Julie needs to recognize this. Brianna helped me through some difficult registration needs on multiple vehicles while the state IT processing equipment was having issues. I Pray Brianna works at this DMV for many years to come. Who hates waiting in line at the DMV?? I sure do!!! That's why, every time I need to stop at the DMV, and I'm driving thru Ely, I stop here. Every time I've been in here, it has literally taken me 20 minutes. When they made it mandatory to get the Real I.D. last year, I stopped in here on my way to visit family. This year, I was on my way back to Vegas and had to renew my drivers license since it was expiring. It would have been a few hours wait in the Elko DMV and even longer in Vegas. The people behind the counter have always been very efficient and helpful. I make a trip through Ely about once a year or more. So, if I have to do anything at the DMV, I will make a point to plan it on one of my trips through here. read more
