After sending photos of the disgusting state he was surrounded by & the food he was given, Allianz organised to move him within a couple of days into a real hospital with doctors, nurses, a reception desk & food served on plates not sealed plastic containers. His room was cleaned every day unlike the Policlinico & his bed was remote controlled so he didn't need a trash can behind his back to sit him up. YES ALL TRUE & HAVE PHOTOS. They dropped food on the floor & just put it back on the patients tray in front of our eyes. Blood stained sheets for days due to public holidays. 8 beds squashed together when my dad was immune compromised. 90 minutes a day for visiting hours & the nurses were too lazy to open the doors on time. We just kept banging on the door. Couldn't even get a hot cup of tea for my dad as he was struggling to breathe. And was advised by a local visitor to may be bake a cake for the nurses & they would look after him. My mum's response: "I haven't licked anyone's ass in my 75 years & ain't going to do it now!" Just go straight to the Rome America Hospital if you need care & want to survive.
