Several dentists say I'm the funniest person they'd ever met (this is not bragging, it's a pitiful confession) until they notice I've been in the chair for hours. But with Dr. Monteiro I didn't say one funny - she was quick, professional yet friendly, painless, took time to tell me what she was doing before she did it, and used lots of cool, state-if-the-art instruments. She and her dental assistant seem to almost read each other's thoughts and things get passed back and forth while I caught up on the "Help I Wrecked My House" show. Dr. Lerch personally responded the same night after hours (while the competing office got back to me the following morning, asked all the same questions I had already answered in their online intake form, and then recommended I schedule an appointment in two weeks). She messaged to let me know they consider this an emergency and would prioritize it (it's very painful and hot/cold sensitive to have an exposed tooth with veneer missing). I was in her chair getting the veneer reattached the following day. Altogether it took less than 30 minutes. Admittedly, I came to Dr. Lerch's office with some quiet distrust of dental offices in general. However, I have since found that I can completely trust Dr. Lerch's office with the full scope of my dental care, and so I also recently decided to move forward with a lingual frenectomy that had been impacting my speech for decades but I kept avoiding. The procedure took minutes and was entirely painless. Lastly I'll add that what makes this place truly exceptional is that Dr. Lerch's care and standards are not limited to her. Every person I have spoken to in the office shares the same qualities, whether Robby, Rahisha, Karen, or anyone else. Dr. Braun from the second he placed braces on my 14 year old she has been plagued with an exhorbent amount of sores in her mouth from the braces that. Were put on defectively. I had to fight with the office every single time begging them to see my daughter because the wire of the brackets were sticking out and cutting her gums. When the Dr. Finally saw us he even said oh wow that's not good. And guess what? It happened again and again and again. Last straw was I called on a Wednesday and said my daughters bracket is loose. They said they had a 930am on Thursday. I told them that's fine but she has to be out by 10 as she has an appt she cannot miss. At the appt he took her loose brace off, tightened her bottom teeth all while scratching her gums leaving her with canker sores, a missing bracket and a broken bracket on top. She called me after her appt crying that she has a missing. Bracket in front and he made the braces worse. I begged and pleaded to bring her back after her appt. They ignored me, promised the Dr would call me back, (which he didn't) , and. Than at 4 told me they cannot see her till the following week. I even sent him a video and he still refused to see her. He wanted her to be with a broken bracket cutting her insides all weekend again?? I am appalled! I urgently phoned. ADentist in Darien who was miraculously able to see my daughter. Wow! He was incredible. He was caring , kind and it was the first time my daughter wasn't petrified for someown to be in her mouth fixing her braces. I called the Dr. Thursday demanding my records for all of my children and he has yet to answer me or send the records to my new orthodontist. Horrific awful experience!!!

Martin is gentle, sensitive to his patients, and cares about his patient's reactions to interventions. He modifies his work with each individual. Dr. Braun goes slow with a treatment plan when needed and is flexible; working with patients where they are at. I (like most people) dread the idea of oral surgery and was worried when my regular dentist explained that I would need to have two molars extracted due to a crown that was never quite right and caused the decay of the adjacent tooth. Long story short, my experience couldn't have been better. The staff was very friendly and understanding and the doctor did an amazing job. The teeth were removed and the recovery was virtually painless, even with just ibuprofen. I would certainly recommend Dr. Alkhatib and OSA in Fairfield.

My dentist recommended me to see Dr. Amato due…read moreto I have some weird periodontal issue.( a small hole appeared above my gum line, and started foam white discharge) Went to see the doc on 06/17, Dr. Amato decided we should have a small surgery. I had surgery on that day, and told to come back next week to check on the healing. 06/24 was told everything look fine, come back in 3 weeks. However, I pointed out, my gum line is uneven. Doc and nurse said need to wait at least 3-4 weeks before they can do anything. They assure me it will look even. 07/18 Dr. Amato decided to laser the gum line a little bit, so they will look even, it was about 2mm difference at that time. If I smile, you can definitely tell the difference. It was a very quick procedure. During the procedure, Dr. Amato checked with his nurse , he said " do you think I should do a little more? ", He also asked me that question. I was pretty confused , I am not professional. I left office , I sat in my car, I looked into my mirror, I was like, maybe he should laser a little bit more. I went back in the office, spoke to his nurse, I said since I am still numb, do you think we could laser a little bit more. She told me, it was not necessary, if it is still uneven, they will fix it next time. don't worry about it. Today, 08/12, another 3 weeks went by, my gum line is still uneven. Dr. Amato told me, first, he does not have time to fix my gum line, second , if I do want my gum line fixed, I need to pay $1000+ to fix it. Yes, I had small teeth before , now I have bigger teeth and uneven gum line, so if you are looking for a periodontics, would you go with this office?
