Don't go here, The last three times I've ordered, they either screwed my order up, or the food was so bad, food that I donate to homeless, food that senior citizens would not eat.. will not be accounted for by management.. I paid 24 dollars for salmon plate, They added french fries that I did not order. I went to pick the food up, noticed the fries erroneously added and told the man to take them off. .The man who took my money told me there's nothing he could do?. Then he went to his manager that shrugged him off. I told him I would deal with this issue later. SO; I DELIVERED THIS FOOD TO A CONVELESCENT HOME, where this really nice 79 year old man took a bite of the Salmon not 10 minutes after it was cooked and...spit it out. Just for safe measure, the nurse came in, she checked the food. The rice was undercooked, it was uneatable, The french fries ,(that I did not order) were mushy. The broccoli was not fresh. The salmon was an embarrassing frozen wedge of under cooked mush!. This is what TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS, PLUS TIP? $31.00 I called, the night of the order of no one would take my complaint in INDONESIA where the call center was located..I came by same time next night explained the situation to the most ignorant confrontational, rude, racist man. But not before trying out of common courtesy to address this on the phone. Believe it or not, ,The same manage asked me what the problem was. I started to explain. About a minute into my complaint, he says " hold please" He put me on hold 31 minutes. I drove there six minutes later. He is not busy and I'm still on hold.. My phone is in my hand, I'm watching this jerk just blow the phone call regarding a customer issue, with zero conscience. I came down there to speak to the person that was in charge. What a disappointment to see what food service has become at Denny's..How dare you permit this Denny's! This is a person who has no business to food service field.. This is notice Denny's.. Keep this guy on board, without addressing this, and I will testify that you were aware of the risk he presents, the liability he is causing and the culpability you will be responsible for In so far as how I witnessed this go down, this was racism met with no concern whatsoever, I am going to persue this. The temmerity that taking someones hard earned money, over charging them, then scoffing at me in front of the register for 43 minutes just to purposely aggravate me, a paying customer. Is this permissable?.No not even by criminal law it's not!. I can not I even fathom what Denny's permits in terms of how they abuse customers with bigotry and reverse racism?.The rudest abusive, aggressive and malicious treatment of customers. NO CURBSIDE PICK-UP DESPITE ADVERTISING IT!! I am so tired of restaurants advertising that they will take precautions during the covid-19 pandemic and then not doing it. Denny's clearly advertises delivery and curbside pick-up. Last week, I tried delivery with this location and no delivery was available on a Thursday afternoon. Ok, I understand - many people are probably requesting delivery. But today, I tried curbside pick-up. When I arrived to get my food, nobody answered the phone. From my car, I could see customers walking into the restaurant. I got out of my car (it was drizzling rain) and stood outside and looked in. I could see 2 customers standing about 2 feet away from each other in the waiting area while one employee was at the register. Clearly, the customers were being made to wait in the small waiting lobby area and not enter the restaurant. I called and the employee ( looks like manager) finally answers. He says they are not doing curbside pick-up because of the rain. Did I mention it was DRIZZLING?!? It would have been a 4 feet walk from restaurant door to curb even if it had been raining cats and dogs! The employee/manager asks me to come inside and wait with the other 2 customers! I am standing right outside the restaurant and can see bags of food ready to be picked up so I ask if my order is ready. He says my order is ready and to come inside and get it. I asked for my food to be brought outside to me and was told, again, to come inside and get my food. In order to not walk past the 2 customers on my way in to get my food, which I picked and paid for based on CURBSIDE PICK-UP, I declined, asked for a refund, and left. Already called Denny's corporate to ask for a refund as I can tell a manager who will not take precautions for customer and community health won't have much of a moral compass either. read more

Honestly if the menu says free refills, I should at least get the refill but the manager had said it was no free refill, this is my local Dennys and I come very often, and I get my free refills on hot chocolate, the menu even says it's part of it! I understand if I had misread it and I accidentally assumed but, I've been coming here for 2 years and I always get it, suddenly it's not a refillable thing? Just stupid. read more

Hello, my name is Robert and I've been coming to Dennys Tampa St diner for over 25yrs. From the management, the cooks in the kitchen and the waiting staff together have made me feel at home. The food is good, reasonably priced and when paired with lively and well-trained personnel, like Rita for example. Her greetings make it feel like a real neighborhood diner right from the start. In fact, everyone acknowledges most customers because they are regular customers like me. I feel comfortable while I wait for breakfast in the morning. Feeling a little nasty? Go to this Denny's. After ordering our food, a party a few seats away just got up and left the restaurant after spotting a cockroach by their booth. Before leaving, they made sure to call on the manager on duty to inform of what the hell was happening. But apparently, he said he doesnt care. Now onto the service: I hate leaving reviews like but this server was horrible. We were seated by the manager and this guy approaches us suprised that we were seated, questioning why we were seated at our booth. We haven't been to a Denny's in quite a while. I wanted it to be good so we'll go again, but it was disappointing! My husband & I both ordered the SENIOR SCRAMBLED EGGS WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE. The first plus was our waitress was very nice & efficient. The second plus was the cheddar & eggs were good, but not very hot. The BIG minuses: nothing was very hot, I mean NOTHING! Especially the sausage & bacon - not only were not hot but they were BARELY COOKED - yuck! I don't eat sweets but I wanted pancakes so I made sure to ask for sugar free syrup. I took a nice bite AND GUESS WHAT?? They gave me chocolate pancakes!! Yup! Cold chocolate pancakes! So, will we go to Denny's again? I just don't know. read more

We unexpectedly dropped into this Denny's at 11:30pm with 29 teenagers and myself. Granada Highlander Band was celebrating homecoming with alumni and a football team win. Not only did the manager Andres (I hope I remembered his name correctly) accommodate us with a smile, they opened the back room for us and sent Joey to be our server. Joey was fantastic, efficient, checked on each of our tables several times, and brought everything asked for. Kudos to the cooks as well to work as quickly as they did. We will be back next Saturday and Andres noted it on their calendar so they will be prepared for our group after their competition. Every time I come to Denny's it's very debatable. I have to think do I go to Denny's with HORRIBLE SERVICE but good food or go to "IHOP" and get a SMILE every time!!!! I believe when you come to Denny's you already know the general quality and service of the restaurant and food. It's a classic! However, this particular facility needs quality and customer service guidance. I believe the workers at this facility are doing their best given the management that they have. On my visit today with my father they appeared flustered and overwhelmed. They also seemed resigned to the fact that most people are not satisfied when they come to this Denny's. Therefore, after seeing the manager stocking items in the back while there was a huge line of customers in the front, I place their lack of success on management. The bathrooms were dirty and the front hostess overwhelmed. Instead of hiding in the back the manager should have been managing/helping his staff, checking quality, and providing customer service. Unfortunately, he wasn't. As I said, it's a classic restaurant, you know what you are in for. Rita is the best server there. Very kind, attentive, and humorous. If you are able to be seated in her area, you are in luck. I ordered the Honey Jalapeno bacon with 2 eggs over medium and added extra bacon for $1.98. Sometimes I feel the hash brown is just a very thin layer of potatoes and it seems to be extra greasy... idk if its just me but that irritates me so I always opt out for red potatoes. The only thing I had an issue with is my when I ask for my eggs to be over medium it should be OVER MEDIUM and not under cooked. I dislike runny eggs. Terrible service. Should know when you walk into this place that the experience was going to awful. Widows are filthy with finger prints trash on the floor. Walk in to get seated have manager counting the register, three different servers pointing us in different directions to be seated. I order a burger, when I get burger the patty is in pieces, lettuce is wilted, bread is hard as a rock and french fries are cold. Horrible experience... Ordered delivery from here a few nights ago. Our entire order was wrong. We are disabled and were home sick and they refused to send another delivery. No offer of refund or anything except for us to come in sick and get it remade. The manager in charge had a horrible attitude and when I was upset, he apologized blankly and raised his voice multiple times. He even put the phone down instead of dealing with the issue to take another customer. Burnt bread, missing multiple items, steak tips instead of pot roast...the list goes on.
