You know what's better than breakfast? It's breakfast for dinner. Denny's is the trifecta of awesomeness, great food, great atmosphere and great service. The charm of the restaurant is how friendly and caring each of the staff members are. Denny's is open 24 hours. The menu includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options.

It's back folks. Those $10 grand slams. Yum!

My guess and I went ahead and ordered the macaroni brisket with barbecue and onions on top. We went ahead and grabbed two cups of coffee, some water, and a couple of side salads. But you know me, especially at these type of joints it's the customer service that's going to make or break the outing. This is where CSA customer service All Star Paolo (pictured) came through big time. Would you believe this guy was not only the host, but our server as well? In short, he did double duty and pulled it off like a true magician. All in all good time was had is this was the first time ever for my guest and I at this particular Denny's. Will be back!

Host taking order of family that came after us

We visited this Denny's on Christmas. Upon arrival, the host seated us. I noticed there was only one server working, which I understood given the holiday. We sat down, decided what we wanted to order, and waited for approximately 30 minutes. During that time, two parties seated ahead of us were greeted, given drinks, and served within about 10-15 minutes, while we were never greeted or offered drinks. The host continued seating new guests in the front of the restaurant while we were the only two guests seated in the back, as shown in the photos attached. Eventually, a waiting lobby formed, yet we were not acknowledged or given any information about wait times. After waiting, the host then took the order of a family that arrived after us, and at that point we decided to leave. The only staff member who spoke to us was the busboy, who suggested we move closer due to having only one server. No similar communication came from the host or server. We were also seated next to an emergency exit that emitted a constant beeping sound throughout the wait. Suggestion for management: On understaffed or holiday shifts, guests should be informed of wait times before being seated. Hosts should coordinate seating with server capacity and ensure all tables are acknowledged and offered drinks, even if there will be a delay. Clear communication would have significantly improved this experience. Based on this experience, I would not return.

Arrived at this establishment to have breakfast with my Mom and Brother, there was a bit of a wait, which is usual on a Sunday morning. Once we were seated, we ordered, they had some new Bettlejuice menu items and the hubster did not hesitate to jump on them. Our waitress Iris was wonderful. The kitchen was running behind, but surprisingly to us the family next to us got their food and we were still waiting for our food.. iris our wonderful waitress asked us if we wanted to see the Manger Ilis . Ilis came to our table with a weak excuse for the kitchen, but offered no solution. I pointed out that the family next to us had their food and we were still waiting. The Managers response was " I can offer you a glass a water complementary ", what the heck.. Ok, let me eat my food a bounce out of here....

I arrived and it was super packed but still got seated within 10 mins. Once I got seated i waited 15 mins for a waiter to come take my drink order and I had to ask who was my waiter because no one had come around. Kathya I think her name was, helped us out. She was very nice and ended up serving us since the waitress that was responsible for my area never came to my table. 10/10 for her service but 6/10 in the experience having breakfast here.

The service was very good, everything was wonderful. But finding hair in your food is not pleasant.

The cook was really nice! Had long hair and made my food really good! I'm not sure what his name was. The server wasn't Good. Julie was her name gave attitude and took a long time to come and help me. I think she could use some help in people skills. But whoever the cooks where this night were great! Honestly, the food was okay but I asked for a mango smoothie and they gave me a mango lemonade, whats worst was that the mango lemonade was just some water with some mango and I pretty much only tasted the water. They took long just to get the drinks and no, the place wasn't full or anything like that, it only had a few people in there. The place was clean but not much, but sadly the staff barely gave us the food we needed, they only gave us half of the food we asked for. Plus the place was a little expensive. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this Denny's. I ordered hamburgers online and when I got there 1 woman was running around like a chicken without a head in the kitchen and there were about 20 people in the restaurant. I waited for 20 minutes and no one came to the front. Finally I walked behind the counter to ask her about my order and she literally screamed at me to get back behind the counter and despite me asking several times about my order she just kept screaming at me to get back. I went back to the front and an old man was there and I asked him what her name was and he just said that she was the manager and I had to talk to her. First the grand slam which was not what was expected. How tiny it was compared to the Dennys in southgate was a big difference. Then our waiter only dropped the food off and never checked in once. Only checked in with her other tables around us and us never. We finished our food and waited 10-20 mins to get our boxes and check and instead I had to go up to the front and ask someone else. the new manager is horribly rude not only to his employees but the guest as well. he be littles his team and speaks about the customers loudly to the cooks very unprofessional I've been going here for over 30 years and this man has ruined the feeling of it feeling welcoming. I had never complained about my food mind you not once asked for a discount just mentioning my food was not properly cooked this man said he took a bit of the food and it was cooked. again I never askEd for a discount I didn't ask for a replacement just letting you know take your time! don't argue with me learn to take criticism and learn from it. but this manager needs proper training. read more

Food was horrible, I order a country steak with gravy and the food was so unflavored. I informed the waitress and the manager didn't even bother to apologize for the service they only discount 11.00 I had no choice to eat from my family left overs. It is my daughter birthday and it turn out to be the worst experience. Words can't describe the way it made me feel. I would not recommend to go eat breakfast at this location. Only been to this location a few times.... looking for something hearty, late night... My friend ordered the salmon and I ordered a scramble... Ordering salmon or anything aside from breakfast is HELLA SKETCH, but it was surprisingly not terrible! I even snagged a few bites... can't say I'd order it again but it wasn't bad at all!!!! The steak skewer scramble was good, I was looking for more veggies but hey, it wasn't bad.... I've enjoyed coming to this Dennys on Thursdays. My family and I have been coming here for quite a bit on thursdays. Its not too busy and you can have a good conversation and the food is good, but the service is AWESOME. We get to have Jessica K as our waitress and she does such an awesome job! All the stars are for Ricardo my server he did an amazing job. I think he was the only server there that day and he was doing a great job. My only issue is I got the steak salad and the steak was really over cooked. So when you order the steak salad from this location, make sure you say medium rare on the rare side. We came to this location the manager was in the bathroom for a good 15 minutes then went to the back and wasn't seen at all for a About 30 minutes and left one person to take care of everything! The poor Guy was so overwhelmed he was running everywhere! When she finally showed up I told her it was not ok to leave one person alone with so many people and all she could tell me was wear your mask!!! She didn't care about anything I had to say. Our order took about 45 minutes no water no coffee nothing because there was only one person and the lazy Ass manager or supervisor whatever she was, I think her name was Jessica, never once helped!!! Idk why Denny's always gets bad reviews. I love Denny's. Like I literally live for diner food haha good food for the price you pay. Friendly service. Clean dining area. We were the only ones along with one or two other families at 7am Saturday morning. Super fast service. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Coffee refills on point. I ordered from the value menu, which hasn't been advertised the last couple times I've been at Denny's, but you can access that menu online. Biscuits and gravy value meal is less than $5. In the back was the loaded veggie omelette for around $12. Coffee (about $3) from Denny's alwaysssss hits the spot and I always take a cup to go free of charge. I love how they not only have half n half but flavored creamers as well. Breakfast here is always a good idea. Can't complain about a typical American breakfast at a great price!! read more

The waitress was sooo nice. I went in for my birthday free build your own grand slam and wanted bacon, sausage, pancakes, hash browns and eggs. I couldn't decide what to remove because I only wanted 4 items. The waitress said I could get one sausage and one bacon as an order (so half each). In the end I ended up with 2 and 2 with no extra charge. So fulfilling! read more

The waitress seemed far more focused on regular customers and had a very cold demeanor toward anyone new. I understand taking care of regulars, but basic courtesy and attention should apply to everyone. Overall, a disappointing experience. I won't be returning.

(Please Read This) Honestly I wouldn't recommend this Denny's to anyone even if it was the last Denny's in California. When you enter this establishment you could already feel the bad energy and it has a unique smell right when you walk inside of it...and I'm not talking about a good food smell either. The servers aren't that bad tbh, it's more of the cooks that make the servers get b*tched at because their cooks are horrible and the food comes out extremely slow and also wrong. The managers need to get it together and think about their occupation or hire better people because even when they're overstaffed (which is rare because their always understaffed) with people the whole process is still slow. Also the female manger with blonde hair needs to get fired because I don't know how she has that position if she doesn't have a customer service skills and gives attitude when she's in the wrong. Also look at all the ethnicities that work there and tell me if you see one dark skinned person...one of my friends tried to apply there and they denied him for obvious reasons read more

I visited the restaurant sometime last week with my friend and I was helped out by Jordy. We sat in the patio and were surprised how fast we got service "Hello my name is Jordy, can I start you of with some drinks?" We ordered a water and orange juice of the paper menu we were provided. We looked at the menu shortly and when Jordy returned he said to us " Are you ready to order? Or still need a few minutes?" We were ready to order, we ordered the nachos (full), a stack of pancakes and a chocolate crepé. The restaurant at the time was busy and Jordy was the only one on the floor running around quiet a bit, felt kind of bad seeing him have to wait on all the tables himself. Eventually after 15 minutes our food arrived and we were pleasantly surprised of how good our meal looked. Jordy offered us syrup for our pancakes and we began eating our meal, it was gone in a matter of minutes. We thanked Jordy for his magnificent service and handed him a cash tip. Service was HORRIBLE! We waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. We could see all the workers on the side laughing and singing songs to one another. Finally someone sat us and we waited another almost 10 minutes to be helped. At least we knew what we wanted. AGAIN, the longest wait for our food. When we got it the food was a mess. My dad's food was sloppy looking and my food was dripping off the plate. During this time we could STILL hear the workers in the back screwing around. The worst racist place ever. They have the worst service. There is this short chubby fat b**** that is seating and cleaning off tables.with messed up blond hair looking like straight drug addict and a stinch of liquor on her breath food stains all over her uniform i thought this was a family restaurant not a rahab center. This past Monday I went to have my breakfast before work and I was lucky to get there just in the right time.right after my server took the order (Jessica K) the place got busy out of nowhere. What I love about this place is doesn't matter the time or if their busy or not the ambiance is always perfect they make you feel confortable. My food was out really fast was hot and delicious, when I ask the guy that was helping them for the manager to complement about my server to my surprise my server (Jessica K) was the manager.I just want congrats her for doing a great job, while I was there I saw her taking tables training a new server and cashing out people thats a lot for one person during a busy day. We've lived near this location for 20+ years, We are regulars, and have seen many servers, many menu changes (prices also) and a change of owners. A couple of servers We've known for most of our time being customers that are seasoned veterans of the establishment that know us and our family. A few stand out, one of them, Mursal, shes always been very attentive and friendly. The other servers also are attentive and friendly, regardless of how full or empty the place is. The worst place for eat in and take out. I ordered though Uber Eats 3 days ago. My order was wrong and I didn't get what I ordered. They were out of apple crisp, they substituted my turkey bacon for regular bacon, my pancakes were burnt, there wasn't enough syrup and the food was cold. It too an hour for delivery, I'm only 3 minutes away. It would've been nice had they called me instead of the Uber driver to tell me they couldn't accommodate my order to my liking. I Love this Denny's! We come every Thursday to eat before going to the Dollar Deal at Goodwill and we keep coming to eat because the service is amazing. The Waiters and Waitresses, the cooks make our food in a timely manner, and even the bus boys are always making sure all tables are clean! I don't normally eating breakfast, however my son requested that we eat Denny's today. He wanted to try one of the holiday delights. The food was great and management was awesome. You rarely see management on the floor checking on the guest making sure everything is okay. The facility was clean and staff had pleasant attitudes. Everyone here is very friendly! The Main Manager Jamal puts a personal touch to every visit. The staff is very friendly and on time with everything, and the food is prepared better than any other Denny's I've ever tasted. The staff is also very good at making customers feel very welcome, and they do a great job at getting the orders right the first time!
