I have never been so disappointed with a Denny's. I was excited to eat here as I recently moved and there is no dennys around my new place. Me and my husband walked in, sat ourselves and was handed 2 menus. We ordered waters to drink then we sat there. We sat there for a long time. Someone walked over and asked if we got our drinks then saw our waters and walked away. Then we sat there some more. Finally we gave up and walked out without even being noticed (as we hadn't been the entire time we were there). There was 3 waitresses, 1 cook, and 4 other people total inside the restaurant. Ridiculous. Disgusting. Rude. I will never return here nor recommend this dennys to anyone! read more

First off, nobody assisted us on getting us sat! My husband had to ask to be seated. When we got seated a worker complained about them going 50/50 because she got our drinks and was taking our orders. So we ordered our drinks and went ahead and ordered my sons food just to get it out of the way since he was hungry so we got a kids meal that contains 3 mini pancakes, 1 egg, 2 sausage links. And it took them 30minutes to get just that out to us. There was 2 cooks back there one of them was not wearing a hair net nor a beard net. We didn't get our food until 45 minutes. Which they also had food just sitting there. Luckily our waitress was hanging out by the food and got ours to us right away. The wait was ridiculous and the customer service was poor. We were greeted at the door and told to sit down and wait to be seated because our waitress had to clean tables for us to be seated.... 10 minutes later I look around and this place is only 25 percent full. We ended up walking over and seated ourselves. One she forgot to give us menus Two she for got my coffee and our toddlers juice Three she took every ones order and for got to get my order... I'm not one to complain about a bad experience but please go to IHOP down the road for breakfast. It's worth the wait time. read more

My fault for going here. Yes, I was warned by the low star rating. The service was terrible however they were very nice but just really bad at serving. The kitchen was mixed. The food was ok to really good but the portions from one person to the next in my party of five were comical. I got a smidge of hash browns and my son got an enormous amount. Yes, we ordered the same thing. I watched the food come out and some of the food fell on the floor. It wasn't replaced or picked up when I was there. It seemed like a huge lack or organization and leadership. You know who was managing? Nope, we couldn't tell either. It seems like it could be really good if they had direction and leadership instead of staff guessing what they should do because they are guessing wrong. And I couldn't get my drink refilled because the server was very scarce. Where they busy? Nope, I counted and the staff to customer ratio was 2:1. For every two customers there was one employee. They should be able to provide exceptional service and food at that ratio. So, back to Barrier Jacks and IHOP. read more

I came into here at 2:10am and now it is 3:01 and have not received any food what so ever. I ordered appetizers and meals as well for 6 people. When someone walked out saying it will take a hour and a half I thought they were kidding. There is 5 tables with customers. Service would be great if there were food to bring out. Best value for the money on the beach. Dennys has recently upped the menu at this franchise. Their breakfast menu guite frankly cannot be beat and is served 7/24. All in I give this restaurant a 4 out of 5 and I am not the least bit embarrassed to do so read more

We decided to try this once again after 1 1/2 years. Big mistake!! No organization or management visible. Toast came out 15 minutes before the breakfast. I asked to warm the toast and had to wait another 10 for the toast. The order was wrong when it arrived but ate what they brought. Me and my brother stopped to eat here. There was only a few other tables with guests in the restaurant and it still took over a half hour to get food. Once the food did come it tasted terrible. Meatballs had a funny taste, and the garlic bread was plain bread that looked like it was thrown on the flat top grill and burnt. Mozzarella sticks were by far the best thing about the meal, and they tasted like the ones you can buy frozen at the grocery store. Burger tasted funny too and the fries were bad. I will say the 1 Star goes to the waitress, she was friendly (and she had to yell at the cook because it was empty and still taking forever). Worst meal I have had in a long time, and I am not a picky eater at all. I didn't even finish half of my meal, which my friends and family will tell you is unheard of. DO NOT EAT HERE! read more

We dined in yesterday and well we ordered then the waitress had to tell us they had no cook available which was not surprising we could see the cook stumbling and falling down in the kitchen he appeared to be completely intoxicated.... Horrible experience with our sever Steven. He never took our order or acknowledge us. We sat for approx. half an hour. They were quite busy but he could have at least said hello or communicated to us what was going on. The only reason I knew he name is because his manager yelled it out from the kitchen. To give this one star is disgraceful. This place is disgusting and I will be surprised if I don't get sick in the next day. I know this is Denny's and you can't expect much but the level of unprofessionalism here was beyond me. My waitress and the hostess constantly complained about their long shift and their kids at home. My table was dirty upon being seated. When I was about to leave, I went to the restroom to find one of the waitresses there with an open door. She didn't wash her hands upon leaving and there was no toilet paper in that stall. You gotta admire a place that does what it does and does it right. But this my friend, is NOT one of those places. To put things nicely, the soup was colder than the Arctic Ocean, I'm not sure that the turkey bacon was even cooked, the hash browns tasted like wood, heck, they couldn't even get us our water within 15 minutes. Just disappointing. If you're thinking that Denny's in a small town like cocoa beach is going to be good, you're wrong. Makes Taco Bell look like a 5 star restaurant. Disappointing. Kitchen staff is dragging down the facility. Yelling and complaining heard all the way out in the seating area. Over an hour to get the Luke warm food which was not a complete order. This is probably the worst Denny's I have ever been to, not to mention the most disgusting restaurant I've ever stepped foot in. It smelled like straight urine and fecal matter. There was what I think is mold...MOLD on the ceiling. There were ants crawling on the window sill next to our booth. Our waitress looked so dirty her hands were crusty and had dirt all over them. I could see the dirt under her fingernails. She gave us plates for appetizers and when she set them down we noticed they were dirty and had stains on them. She walked away and started screaming bloody murder because she hit her elbow on the table as she was walking away. Later she came back and noticed that we hadn't touched the plates, only then did she realize that they were dirty. This was probably the worst experience I've had in a Denny's ever. They weren't busy and still we were there for over an hours and a half. The Waffle was overcooked and the pancake puppies did not have the chocolate chips in them that they were supposed to. But overall it was the service and speed of service that was most detracting. read more

I have never been a person who writes reviews after going to a restaurant, but I felt the need to after visiting this establishment. The waitress came to our table and dropped all the menus in front of us and then walked off without saying a word. My food was not delivered until my group had already received and finished eating their meals. When my missing food finally arrived to the table it was soggy and cold. I only was able to eat a couple bites before pushing the entire plate aside. The whole experience was dreadful and I would strongly recommend that nobody waste their time or money. read more

Actually my first time having non-breakfast at a Dennys. Not thrilled about the food. The onion rings were mediocre and my avacado turkey sandwich was super dry. I did however enjoy my strawberry shake very much, so that saved the meal. I don't have much to say about the service. It was next to our hotel and that's why we went. That's the only reason why we went. But we left well fed and not too much poorer. :) read more

We had a wonderful breakfast at the Cocoa Beach Denny's restaurant. I had a hearty 2 egg omelet with loads of great al dente veggies, delish! My husband had the same breakfast as I did but with 3 eggs. My mom had the two eggs sunny side up with bacon, again, done to perfection. The service was great, the server most attentive and the price was right. We'd go back again for breakfast for sure! read more
