Randomly stumbled upon this cafe... My pastry was a little stale and my cappuccino was average…read more Very kind service however! The indoor seating area is small, it was raining so they didn't have the outdoor seating open. They also sell ice cream by weight, which I've never experienced before, so you have to communicate exactly how much you would like/what size cone. I tried the chocolate and cookie flavors. The chocolate had delicious chunks of dark chocolate which I very much enjoyed. The cookie flavor was vanilla based with oreo type cookie crumbles, also delicious. Pretty expensive for the amount I received though. I think the food could be better, but the cafe atmosphere is nice.

Coolest cafe/bar ever. Best song selection had me asking the bartender many times for the names…read more Wish we had a place like this in LA or Stockholm.

The breakfast was delicious. I had the English Breakfast…read more However, I asked for no bacon and got it anyway. Oh well, I mean, who doesn't like bacon? They have a smoking room too, which is quite convenient, considering that it was freezing and snowing outside. The service could have been better, but can't complain when you and the waitress don't speak the same language, or aren't fluent in the same language.

Second day returned for more. The night before I had lamb with eggplant and rice. It was prepared…read moredifferently from my American experience though it was good since lamb and eggplants are both favorites. Today it was a cold carrot ginger orange soup; prepared just right with all 3 tastes in balance. Next course was a tenderloin salad with a light drizzle of olive oil. Again good though the tenderloin pieces were on the smaller side. Plus a side order of 2 perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs. Then the finale: chocolate cake with a hint of rosemary on the topping plus itty bits of walnuts. It was the tastiest non sweet light chocolate cake. And of course a mandatory cappuccino to finish the pallet. Incidentally fast wifi on both days which was a bonus. Finally I might add a restaurant is about food and service ....if you want wifi, pay for wifi at an Internet cafe. Bad form to complain about a give away.

When I walked into this cafe, I was so happy. I was looking for a place where I could work…read morepeacefully on my laptop. It is spacious with lots of wooden chairs, but also a few different kinds of chairs (wooden chairs sometimes make me uncomfortable after a while). I chose a seat near the window and ordered a latte. It was tasty, but only lukewarm. I would have liked it hotter. Then the major problem -- the wifi didn't work. I tried the password over and over, but nothing. Fortunately, I had other work to do offline. Another patron asked me if the internet was working and I said no. She said that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. For me, that is not acceptable. Who knows, maybe it works better if you sit in a different spot... maybe I just caught them on a bad day... but either way, spotty wifi is not good. If you want to work here, I would recommend connecting and making sure it works before you settle in.
