You would never know this place was here if you werent searching for it, but the inside is absolutely beautiful. Everything is tiled and looks like it came straight out of the 1600's.
I got the full service hamam, which is like $30. I left a $20 tip. You go in, and you get assigned 1 employee for all services. Everyone is very friendly, very old, and very rugged looking; this isnt Aveda Spa like in America.
First you go into a steam room with a huge fire heated center porcelain heating plate. I am a wrestler, I was there for wrestling, and I am no stranger to saunas, but laying on the plate was hot AF. I stayed in about 45 minutes, which, I am guessing, is longer than anyone had in a few years. The worker came in and asked if I was going to get out. I didnt know I was supposed to go get him.
The scrub and soap massage was awesome. After that, you go sit in the lounge and they offer you an assortment of fruits and drinks. Then, you go get an oil massage. Honestly, I wish they would have done that first, then the scrub and soap because they used a crap ton of oil. It was really nice, but I had to go home and take another shower.
Overall, I would 100% go back more times if I visit Antalya again. read more
