There's a Subway attached if you're wanting to grab lunch on the road. The bathrooms are clean. I didn't realize when I pulled up, but the primary business of this store is selling lottery tickets. Of the 8 other people in the line, I was the only one who didn't buy lottery tickets. Based on the number of Alabama tags in the parking lot, I guess people drive over the state line just to come here. Folks were getting $100s of dollars worth of tickets and then scratching them at tables set up just for that. Seriously, the ticket scratch off tables take up more room than the snack shelves. Because people are superstitious about getting the exact right numbers and tickets, the check out lines move very slowly. The cashiers are friendly. If you're in a hurry, maybe go somewhere else. If you need lottery tickets, this is your place.

It sits in an older strip mall at the 431 interchange within a short distance to the Anniston Museum of Natural History and Burman Museum. Although it could be just a really good oriental market filled with all the best sauces, spices, noodles and ingredients, it also has a short menu of the best of Korean Food that can be cooked up by the owner in a few minutes. Bulgogi spicy and not, Japchea, kalbi and Bibimbap and a short list of other favorites appear on the menu. Prepared with skill and love, like eating in the home kitchen or your favorite Mamasan! Food is mainly served to go, although we ate at a small working table in the back of the market. Drinks are varied and from a fridge at the front of the store. A perfect picnic for the park surrounding the Anniston museum complex! The culinary stars doe not always line up so well, but this market and take out place are the best. They have a small selection of fresh vegetables mainly Asian like bitter melon (gourd), small pumpkins, etc. Frozen & refrigerated items such as seafood, tofu, lumpia wrappers and more. They have had refrigeration issues from day one, but can't seem to get them functional. The issues are deeper than just inoperable refrigeration, they continue to sell items that have gone bad because of the inoperable refrigeration. They have no quality standards, and often I have had to stand in line to wait on someone to check me out (even though they had very few customers). This place is in bad need of adult leadership. I am also going to report their repeated failures, to the Health Department.
