Then he asked for my pin when I told him it was not a credit card and he did not seem to understand what it was, he gave me back the card and refused to sell me gas. This was after he shut down 2 of the pumps so that he did not have to walk back and forth from pump to pump, and I had to maneuver around cars to get to the right side of my gas tank. .I am calling Exxon because this is enuf to ruin their reputation, but one thing is for sure I will NEVER go back to that Exxon station.

Yes, I had to travel about a half a mile in the opposite direction to find it, but I was coming from out of town and had to stop in at Woodbury Commons that day for an event that would turn things around in my job and had to get gas in the meantime. Since I had cash, I had to go in and prepay. After handing the employee my money (I had given him a $20 but asked to pump $15), things went okay. He took the money and gave me my receipt. He activated the pump for the transaction. Though it was raining, I got a little flustered when I told him which pump - I didn't at first notice the pump number until after paying. I mentioned which car it was out near the pumps (under the awning). Things carried on. I took care of what I needed to get and although I got lost trying to find the "exit" in the direction I needed to travel to get to the mall's main entrance, but they make big to-do with the mall straight ahead on the road (apparently Locey Ln). But that's not to be mentioned here. It took me a few moments to take care of the gas filling and I was back off and running. Stop in ifyou need gas and are around this mall. It's tough to find a gas station near the mall to it's north on Rte 32, and although I was told from the signs that there are few gas stations nearby, this is really the first one I encountered that day. I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever in the area for stopping in again, but I don't believe I'll be around very often.

It gave you the option to order the chicken salad cold - so I opted for that AND I opted for "toasted" rye. Machine spit out a ticket and I went up front to pay. The cheap price should have been a clue.. just under $7. Sandwich was completed and ready for pickup in 3.5 seconds. I picked it up - it was no heavier than a dry sheet of paper towel. Drove to my destination and carefully opened all the wads of paper around it ( half its weight). It was the saddest looking sandwich I've ever seen. Chicken salad spread so thin, it didn't cover the entire slice of bread - chopped celery was a brownish yellow - the cheese was melted (took a while to find it) and the bacon.... I still have nightmares of what it looked like. I expected brown, crispy pieces of bacon, this looked like flesh colored wavy felt (ice cold). The sandwich in total was under 1/2 inch tall. Putting the 2 pieces on top of each other still didn't look like a normal sandwich. I wasn't able to eat it so I asked all my lunch companions if anyone wanted it. No takers so in the trash it went.

It's a typical Quick Chek and what you would expect. The gas attendant was very professional and friendly. The bathroom - it's right there when you walk in, so it's convenient to find. More importantly, it is CLEAN! So sparkly clean. They have signs that they take pride in their clean bathrooms, so it's their typical thing. I was there in the afternoon and everything looked stocked, but I didn't buy anything as I just came for gas. I'm not from around this area, but if I find myself in the Butler area again, I'd come back for the reasonable/low gas prices and clean facility.
