    Like these other reviews I can 100% relate. Might be fair gas prices but absolute worst service you could ever receive. Super rude.

I'd gladly pump my own gas just to not have to deal with pump attendants, many of whom I find to be surly, cranky, or just plain nasty. In particular, the pump attendant who works evenings at this Shell gas station has a pretty bad attitude. He is always muttering under his breath about something or other. If you ask him for anything, he starts grumbling about you. I ran into this nasty chap on the first night of my stay this weekend. I made the mistake of returning to this gas station three nights later and there he was again, grumbling and muttering. When he finished pumping the gas, I asked him for a receipt. He refused to print me a receipt and started grumbling again. So I had to go into the gas station and ask the store clerk for a reprint of the receipt. If it was no problem for the store clerk to print a receipt, why couldn't Cranky McCrankerton do it? No doubt a lazy, nasty attitude had a lot to do with that.

When I got my money back; I counted It after he deducted the Snapple prices. He gave me back like 5 dollars less than I should have. So asked for a receipt since It wasn't provided. And he scanned out 4 snapples, even though I only got 2. So I asked him for my lottery tickets back so I can recalculate It and he didn't scan one of my tickets. All in all, one of the worst gas stations and what sucks is that it's in such a convenient location to me when I go on 80 but id prefer not to give them my business

    Hello Group, I feel compelled to warn everyone in the…read moreBridgewater community about a terrible experience I've had with a local business owner, Murad Taher at M&M Smoke Shop at Valero Gas Station on 1068 US-22 in Bridgewater, NJ and 291 US-22 E Green Brook, NJ. Earlier this year, in January and February 2023, I sold him a large inventory of exotic snacks. Initially, he paid for half of the order, but despite countless attempts to resolve the issue, he has refused to pay the remaining balance--over $3,000. What's even worse is that he's still selling these products in his store, essentially profiting off goods he hasn't paid for. To me, that's as good as theft. This kind of dishonest and unethical behavior is unacceptable, and it's really disappointing to see it happening in our community. I've tried every way possible to resolve this civilly, but nothing has worked. It has been a year of "brother please give me more time" and many countless excuses. I'll now be involving the authorities and filing formal complaints to hold him accountable for this fraud. To my fellow vendors and business owners: please be extremely cautious before doing business with him. He has even tried paying with checks, but they bounced. This is not someone you want to trust with your hard work and products. It's sad that I have to post this, but I feel like everyone deserves to know. Let's look out for each other in our community and stand up against unethical practices like this. He has done this as well to two previous owners who also held complaints against him. Be very careful.

    The guy who reviewed before me is absolutely correct. I just had the most horrific experience ever…read moreat this gas station. It was about 9 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 20. There was no one else at any of the pumps. I pulled up, asked the guy to fill it up, handed him my card. He started the pump and disappeared. I noticed he was chatting with the FedEx guy. My fill-up ended, and i just sat there, waiting for the guy to come back. I waited 20 minutes! About 10 minutes into my wait, another car came up, and the attendant ignored him while he dealt with the FedEx guy. After 20 minutes, I got out of my car and asked the guy if I could please have my card back. A few minutes later, he came back with my receipt, I signed it, and he threw my card at me and told me to go somewhere else the next time I needed gas. I have never been talked to so rudely in my life, especially by someone who kept me waiting for 20 minutes. The poor guy who came in after me didn't even get service until I left, so I know he waited at least 10 minutes to even get this A-hole to pay attention to him. Hey, he suggested I go somewhere else for gas, so now I'm suggesting all of you go somewhere (anywhere) else for gas. The managers need to know the kind of horrible people they have working for them. They're driving off business.

    My boyfriend and I had a flight to Canada. After hours of delays the flight was canceled. We live…read morein NYC and had made the drive before so we decided to just drive. As our bad luck has it our car broke down at 1 in the morning in NJ. We were practically stranded in the middle of the night. We slept in the car and in the next morning called about 10-15 different repair shops in the area, no one could help us. To make things even worse, it was Memorial Day weekend, most places were closed or booked and closing early. Yilmaz was the only person who offered to help us. He said he was closing early and already had two appointments but wanted to try and help anyway. He ran diagnostics on the car, told us the issue and let us know it would not be worth our money for him to repair the car. He suggested resetting the computer in the car so that we could make it home and find a local mechanic. He would need to hold onto the car for a few days. Our car made it about a third of the way home before breaking down again. Regardless, we appreciated Yilmaz help so much. He also didn't charge us and wouldn't accept any money. He's truly an amazing person and sounds like he's a knowledgeable mechanic too. Please consider him for all your needs. Thank you!

I said to myself, "what the hell, I'll try this place out, yolo!". I walked in the store but the mechanic, Yilmaz, was with another customer. He didn't ignore me though because he abruptly stopped talking to the customer and asked me what he can help me with. I told him my maintenace light was on, so probably an oil change. He said if I could wait 15 mins he would be right with me. In the mean time I called around the other lube places on route 10 and 46 to see how long their wait was.... yikes! 1hr 30mins was the least waiting time. So back to Yilmaz, he was done talking to the customer, he apologized for the wait and he took my car in right away for an oil change. He also checked my tires for nails or something because my tire pressure warning lights were on. He kept coming back to me and letting me know the things that he noticed while working on the car, like how the dip stick had black splashes on it, indicating that the oil was bad. I guess it started to coagulate? He told me not to wait for the car reminder to get an oil change. He was absolutely correct but I'm not taking off work for an oil change and I'm not wasting my weekend for that either. Call me lazy, I know for a fact I'm not the only one who does this lol. Anyways he was pretty quick with the service. I don't have any complaints. If I had to nitpick on something bad, the cost of the oil change was a bit high, but I thought of it as me paying a little extra for the convenience. If I were at the other places I would have to wait another hour plus another 30mins for them to work on the car. If you ask me if this mechanic was trust worthy, I would say yes, based on my experience here. I did not get any malicious vibe with this guy.
