Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. My daughter was fly overseas and the group she was connecting with could not travel out of India due to the war. This all occurred during her flight from MSP to ATL. The Customer Service agent helped her to rebook the International flight to Florida so she could still have a vacation and visit us. They credited her account the difference in airfares. Dec 2022 Home For The Holidays/Perfect Timing: I'm grateful that I arrived at LAX & easily breezed right through airport security for my Delta flight! Luckily, I made it home right before the delays started, because of the ice/winter storm in Seattle! In-Flight Entertainment: One of my favorite holiday movies, The Holiday, was exciting to watch on the screen right in front of me, in between reading a book, as I snuggled into my cozy seat, along with plenty of room in front of me! Snack & Drink: I was given a selection of snacks & decided on the lemon & coconut bar. How funny was it that the flavor was the exact same scent as my hand sanitizer! Haha! Cranberry juice was my drink of choice, as it was a great combo w/my lemon & coconut bar! Flight/Window Seat Always: Smooth, enjoyable & friendly from the moment I stepped on board! As we began to land, who knew that Seattle would be a full-on Winter Wonderland?! I was so excited & even leaned back a bit so the girl sitting next to me could also take photos and videos! We were both excited to see so much snow...fun! While I love living at the beach, it sure is fun to go home and play in the snow! Overall: Delta, you're awesome! Loved all of the amenities, as well as a smooth and enjoyable flight home for the holidays to spend with friends and family! Yay! read more

Delta has let me down for the last time. We will never fly with them again. After delaying our flight 3 times from JFK before it was canceled because they "cant find a pilot". Got us on another flight 8 hours later to Atlanta then Anchorage. Had to uber from JFK to Newark. Then the flight to Atlanta was also late so missed our connection in Atlanta. Flight attendants were extremely rude and seemed they didn't want to be there. The delta customer service was very rude and acted like it was our fault we missed the connection. Where to start... a few weeks ago Delta dropped the ball big time. It wasn't just poor communication while sitting on the runway for an hour or missing our connecting flight, it was the fact that the partner aircraft (Skywest) had a KNOWN ISSUE with auxiliary power not being sufficient for the weight of the passengers and luggage. While we waited in the terminal for hours they were hiring 3rd party engineers to drive down to Burlington VT from New York. Then when enough passengers cancelled or rebooked a different flight they conveniently canceled those plans and eventually flew WITHOUT addressing the issue, meaning this will happen again. The negligence is disturbing. On top of all that I missed an annual work conference, got maybe 3.5 hours of sleep after waiting to get our checked bags for another hour and had to take unplanned PTO from work because of this. Fast forward and I called Delta Customer Care after getting home and was told the best they could do was a $100 eVoucher. That isn't an even trade-off for their negligence and mistake. So I followed their directions to submit a case to receive fair compensation and was offered $100 in an eVoucher via email. I replied that the whole reason I was submitting a case was b/c the $100 would not be sufficient for my losses due to a KNOWN issue for something the airline is responsible for. An important note I ONLY received the one $100 eVoucher at this point. I got no reply from my email. Since I opened two more cases, each closed promptly the next day WITH NO REPLY. I SMS chatted yesterday with a rep who indicated I needed to wait for an email from another team that handles the cases - I received no email and opened another case - promptly closed with no reply today. I call into Delta Customer Care, apparently in 2020 they changed their process and can no longer transfer to the corporate customer care team and the only means to get in touch is opening a case. Having worked in the contact center industry, UCaaS & CCaaS as a sales engineer and in one for Vail Resorts this is a massively disappointing CX journey from known issues not being addressed, broken lines of communication, follow-up and a serious lack of actually feeling cared about. I'm merely seeking fair compensation in miles/credits to make up for their mistake that cost me the aforementioned above. If you were told there was a team that can offer more to compensate for your loss wouldn't you expect to at least have a conversation and be heard? Some token of feeling appreciated? That they can appreciate how missing an annual work conference where I was being counted on to contribute means something? Companies that truly care listen. They take action and have real conversations when things are broken. To this point I've seen a serious lack of empathy & true care on behalf of Delta Airlines and will be considering alternative means of air travel with companies that demonstrate the ability to actually hear and listen to their customers. read more

They're doing their job of course but they have bad attitudes and short patience, which makes it very hard for us travelers because we're just trying to get to the next place. I had an issue with a Delta flight so I called their customer service line, I was then informed that they no longer spoke over the phone when it came to a complaint "that department had been closed down" so I had to file the complaint online, which I did. I had stated on the complaint that I would like someone to call me (that never happened), instead I got a very rude email basically saying tough luck. After 3 flight delays due to mechanical issues then they had to change planes and that plane had a mechanical issue which then caused 2 more delays. I was moved out of a seat that I had to pay extra for and was only put back on it after arguing with them. All in all I was delayed almost 3 hrs and incurred more charges at my home airport due to being late. And yet, no one called, all I got was a rude, crappy email. In 2022 I was at the airport in Vegas heading home. I stopped for a beer at the bar next to the gate. Something was wrong and I all of a sudden couldn't walk very well at all. I was extremely confused. I got on the plane and was just ready to get home. 4 delta employees got on the plane and ordered me off the plane or they were getting the police. I was super confused so I just got off the plane and waited 6 hours in the airport for the next flight 6 hours later. I still could not walk very good, but got home to MN, 1 month later I was diagnosed with MS. The only thing this airline did was cause me if being drunk. Thanks Dejta! When we arrived one of my sister bags was broken and my other sister bags was missing, she did not receive until midnight, even though we all traveled together. On our return flight they checked us in at airport 2 hrs later they said that flight was cancelled, we had to go back to ticket counter collect our bags and then stand in line again to recheck in and then back through TSA and 2 more hours to be told flight cancelled and to go retrieve our bags and wait in line again only to be told there would be no flight for 2 days. We were told to drive to Tallahassee 2 hours away that they could get us out the next day. Getting another rental car and staying in a hotel. The next morning Delta sent a email stating they would help with our extra expenses. But when we finally made it home, I was told they were not going to help with expenses. You have to wear a face mask and social distancing is a must as well. My family and I have traveled on Delta in the past, but we really enjoyed our flight back home. The entire crew was really nice and made sure everyone was comfortable before and during the flight. There is also plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes to keep your hands and area clean before and during the flight. During my flight, I played games and watched some television. I fly with Southwest Airlines 95% of the time, but Delta would be my next choice. I will definitely fly again in the near future. read more

When you pay for Business Class, it goes without saying that you are given access to their lounges. OK, on MOST airlines that's a given. Yes, I should have asked about it. But now you know to ask about it. Anyway, that was a disappointment. As were the rest of their business class accommodations. Crappy snacks, disappointing seats that felt more like premium economy.
