Dr. Evaline Delson is the most caring chiropractor I have ever met in my 53 years. She goes above and beyond in the care of her patients. Dr. Delson opened her own practice January, 2013 and has a great patient base as a lot of the patients followed her when she went on out on her own. Recently, I was working on a 3-day migraine and was recuperating from major surgery. When I called the office, Dr. Delson's administratiive, Phillis Mair, told me the Dr. Delson was booked but that she would fit me in if I could get there in 10 minutes. I said yes and I was. Dr. Delson knew what my surgery entailed and that she would have to adjust me differently; she did and I walked out pain free. The next morning I woke up with another migraine (more severe than the day before) and I knew that Dr. Delson was closed that day, but when I contacted her she told me to come in immediately because she was at the office doing some work. Again, I walked out pain free. Dr. Delson saw me the next morning for regularly scheduled appointment. I walked in with some pain but again I walked out pain free. Dr. Delson is very in tune to the illnesses her patients may have, too. I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and had not had very good luck with my previous chiropractor in dealing with my MS, so they referred me to Dr. Delson. That was the best move ever. Dr. Delson has studied MS and is able to adjust an MSer without having a flare-up occurring. She knows more about MS than any other doctor (of any type) that I have met. We recently moved to Charleston from CT. My 16 year old daughter had back pain intermittently over the last 2 years. One day she was in a lot of pain, more than she had been in the past. Dr. Delson has the training and credentials that offer a variety of treatments. I not only get regular adjustments, but also extremity adjustments as well. She also does a cranial release technique that does wonders for my head and neck after having brain surgery back there. I have had dry needling done there and I also enjoy the option to sit in a massage chair. Dr. Delson has a very relaxing environment in her office. She will go out of her way to help you. I had a bad knee injury this year and I went straight to her because I knew that even if the injury could not be completely helped by an adjustment, that she could help and direct me in what to do and also help me recover faster. Hi. We suspect review from Bess C below is fake. We suspect it's from a Yelp employee trying to get more revenue for Yelp. Someone called the office stating she was in pain for over a month but needed to be seen two days before her important trip. She was politely offered four alternative times including the doc offering to come in an hour before the practice opened and she declined ALL five alternatives. Staff and Doc were overly nice and accommodating for her but she still writes bad review. The next business day, doc receives a call from Yelp coincidentally asking her if she wants help cleaning off the bad review for a fee. I have known Dr. Delson for many years but just recently (2 years ago) started using her for my chiropractic needs. Having Dr. Delson as my chiropractor is the ABSOLUTELY BEST decision I ever made. I have MS and Dr. Delson is cognizant of MS and is versed in how to adjust so as to avoid a flare up. I can not say enough about Dr. Delson or her staff. Dr Delson is by far a miracle. She's has adjusted me at times I could barely walk sit or even stand up. Before meeting her I was seeing another local chiropractor for about 2 months and was still having a constant mild to moderate pain. Just enough to be uncomfortable.
