Had a great dolphin experience! Paid for the supreme package and paid $25 more to get the dolphin ride. The total for two people was about $415 with hotel transportation, HOWEVER that's because we booked 2 days before. If you book in advance, it'll be like 30% off though which I recommend. My dad and brother did the couples dream package which SEEMED like a better deal since it included the dolphin ride, however doing the supreme and adding the ride was actually way better. The photo package is a lot cheaper for the supreme package (almost $100 cheaper) compared to the couples dream package. Also, the supreme package comes with a snorkeling experience which was AWESOME!!! Only about 15 minutes, but we were able to snorkel up close to over 6 dolphins including a baby, and watch them jump in the air/chase each other. Super cute and loves the experience!!! read more

Wonderful experience! Had a 45 minute package for four however, there was only two of us and we were able to get more one on one time with the Dolphins. Be very careful if you read this review and still decide to go. The staff is very high preasure to sell photos and bombarded my wife. Like expected and stated in other reviews, definitely a rip off. In all fairness, they are capturing a memory. My wife paid cash for the photos and one of the staff members stole money. Luis is the employee who stole from my wife when providing change and Angel is the supervisor who tried to cover for him. We've reached out to corporate and I'll update my review if we ever receive a response. In regards to the Dolphins. The kids had fun, but it was very cookie cutter with very little personality. Came in early in the morning on a Monday with my boyfriend and this place definitely met my expectations when it came to fulfilling my bucket list in swimming with the dolphins! The workers there are professional and friendly! I only left one start out because I think the price for the pictures is killer especially when they are not being developed there. They just send it to you on an app or give it to you in a Disc, but who uses discs nowadays lol. Overall I had a great time! read more

My fiance and daughter enjoyed this attraction in November for his birthday. We paid about $220. USD for the experience. I was not allowed to take pictures, which was fine. I didn't mind paying for pictures but holy cow! $300 USD for pictures. I settled for the video and I still paid $90 USD. After coming back to the states, I realize the video is corrupt--plays about halfway and stops. I have made 3 phone calls--no one ever answers or returns voicemail's. I have sent 3 emails with no response. I really just want to purchase some of the pictures. This by far is most disappointing. It was my fiance's birthday but he also proposed. I want everybody to be aware of this scam. They do t notify you of pricing. The hotel gave us a different price and to pay when we arrive here. They shot the prices up at arrival. They dont allow you to take pictures or use a gopro even if you are standing outside. Once in a life time experience however they do try to upsell everything once you arrive. We bought the splash deal at our hotel through an Expedia agent. Transportation was on time and the guy was extremely friendly. Right when we checked in the lady asked us over and over again if we wanted to upgrade our package and we said no and then she asked "are you sure". We did more then what we expected during the interaction, we got to kiss, dance and swim with the dolphins for about 30 minutes in a group. Right after they lure you in with the photos ..beware the cheapest package is $100 and it's hard to say no because they have professional photographers taking photos of you. Don't feel pressured into upgrading, the lowest package is still plenty of interaction with the dolphins. read more

Delphinus, get with a real program. (For my review please note I personally didn't want to go in the water with my wife who looked forward to being with dolphins) Questions at booth to attendant by me... Can I take images and video of the experience of my wife? Can I stay on the side and watch the show and see my wife enjoy and be along dockside with her? Answer, of course you can no problem, the ticket taker replied. We then purchased the the full experience for one at $160. After a short intro video they ushered me to a location I thought which I could walk freely but it was no more of a cattle stall which was about 200 feet from my wife in the water, and actually I could not even see her from the distance or which person she was it was so far away. They would not allow me closer at all whatsoever when I asked. This was ridiculous and a sad joke. Another woman with me in the stall was complaining the same about her children out there and would never have considered paying for such an "experience" if she would have known prior. Of course this is specific with intention to avoid consumers taking their own images or video of their family. To not be able to stand on an empty platform a few feet from family up close is pure evil by this company. Then, only after the "experience"to be shuffled to a room dedicated to subpar image and video packages starting at $200 on computer screens. Complaints to management during the fact fell on def ears with our reprise on what we were told and what we actually experienced. The manager Jaime was at point hiding in the shadow off to the side only to come out without an explanation on staff after asking for higher management. He allowed his employees to absorb and fumble explanations as they shrugged their shoulders. This display was a true sign of lack of consumer support and professionalism by a manager. Therefore I cannot by any means recommend this experience to any family with intentions of taking their own images or want to be close by during the action. I can recommend this experience to anyone that wants to spend $160 per person for a few shared moments of dolphin tricks in the water, and subpar images and video with a bunch of strangers base price packages of the experience starting at $200 per person. This is actually a review for the Delphinus Playa Mujeres but since it's not listed I will leave my review here. We paid for the primax experience for our family including two kids. We were picked up from our hotel on time and the driver was very friendly. We were then checked in and changed into our swimsuits and had access to free lockers to store our belongings. We then went into a little room where we had to watch a few videos full of propaganda We then walked outside where we had to take a quick shower then put on life vests. We walked down to the beach where the dolphins were held. The trainers and staff around the dolphins were very friendly. We all loved interacting with the dolphins and thought it was worth every penny spent. The foot push was super awesome! Afterwards we were immediately pressured into buying picture packages. They don't let you bring your camera so you are forced to to buy their pictures. For $314 we got all the pics on a USB and access to them online for two weeks. Outrageous prices! Delphinus - STAY AWAY - CAN'T TRUST My experience from DELPHINUS at XEL-HA park 1. XEL-HA park was closing at 5:30pm and we were out by 5:45 pm, the pickup van left without 11 of us only with 3 people without even calling or informing us. We were a group of 11 people with kids under 10. DON't TRUST DELPHINUS they will not provide you return transportation, DELPHINUS said they have waited for us and left. Park closes at 5:30pm and we were out by 5:45pm, we couldn't see DELPHINUS van and when we checked with park authorities they said DELPHINUS people wont wait for anyone and will leave by 5:30pm itself. This is an adjustment with local taxi people. And also noone responsible from DELPHINUS will be there in this time. Park authorities say DELPHINUS is a different company and park can't do anything. Finally park authorities arranged a 14 seater taxi to CANCUN for us and we spent 250 USD for our return transportation. I have asked Delphinus to reimburse this money, but they said van driver have waited for us and so they are not reimbursing. Now I am filing a Law Suite on this cheating. 2. XEL-HA DELPHINUS INTERAX, NOT VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. they are charging you 84 USD per head for this attraction. In their website they have advertised that no more than 10 people in a group, We were 11 people in our group and they have added one more, so it was 12 people, some group they add even more like 12-15. DELPHINUS SAY 30 MINUTES IN WATER, THAT IS RIGHT, BUT NOT WITH DOLPHIN. When you go to the water after a video presentation, they take a photo of your group and then in the water they take 2 individual photoes (Dolphin Kiss and Petting) of each one in the group in a platform in water, For 12 people that will easily take 20 minutes. Then they ask Dolphin to make a whistling noise and it will show her teeth. Then they will ask you to move to the other side of pool and spread in a round. Then the Dolphin swim your outer circle and splash some water, you are done. Nothing else happening other than that as they advertise. By this time they will start with another group. All these happening in a 30-35 meter enclosure in water. NOT AT ALL WORTH FOR MONEY. 3. The real CHEATING follows next, after you are out from the so called Dolphin INTERAX experience, your photographer take you to a room and show your photoes, each one of you will be having few individual photoes of Kissing and petting and one or two group photoes. For our group of 11 PEOPLE WITH KIDS THEY HAVE ASKED 440 USD(Yes, it is Four Hundered and forty US Dollars). Then they will start negotiating. Since those photoes are the only thing you have done after spending your hardly earned money, you are forced to buy them for the memory to keep. Now you can think is it worth or not to through your money for Delphinus. They have other experiences like Dolphin RIDE etc, they say you will be in water for 30 minutes, I have seen the ride experience, Two Dolphins push you both of your legs and in 2-4 seconds you will be pushed to water, DONE. Then they say you don't have balance that's why you are done so fast. Now you can think it is worth or not to through your money for Delphinus. XEL-HA park is really good WITHOUT DELPHINUS. But when you book for any of the Delphinus rides, they will give you mid day appointment for Dolphin experience and you won't be able to enjoy XEL-HA in its fullness. So next time when you visit XEL-HA, GO WITHOUT DELPHINUS CHEATING I think the GOOD REVIEWS ARE GIVEN BY DELPHINUS STAFF only, as none of them in our group or the other groups happy with their service. read more

Disappointing on multiple levels. They would not allow our 2 year old into the park without paying the full price of a dolphin ride. Same with his grandma. No photos allowed but they will happily sell you their photos, with photo packages beginning at $360 USD and going up to something more egregious if you want digital copies. The one star is solely for the staff and their outrages photo packages. I came here with my two kids, the interactions itself were ok, the usual kiss on cheek, hi, by, splash etc from the Dolphins. The Dolphins were super cute but I was completely turned off by one of their staff and the pictures. I live for memories and I have no problem paying for expensive pictures. However, this place is just ridiculous. $50 for a single 8x10 picture or $133 for a CD with all your pictures(mind you it's about 30 photos of which the entire group (people not related to you) are involved, only 2 pictures by yourself, one the dolphin kissing you and another were you seem to be holding the dolphin. The biggest turn off for me was that while in the activity as my kids went up to take the photos by themselves, I asked the trainer if at some point I could take a photo of us 3 together and he went on to say that we would be doing activities in which we would come out together. Needless to say, there was never a single photo of just myself and kids. And when I went and saw their ridiculous prices, I couldn't believe that this trainer had the nerves to not allow me to take a picture of myself with my kids when they are charging the prices that they are charging. An awesome experience swimming with two dolphins! I paid $200 for two that included transportation from/to hotel, 45 min interaction with two dolphins which included foot push. It supposed to be a package for 4 but since only 2 of us purchased the package, we got very lucky to spend more "one on one" time with dolphins. Also it was a last session and the trainer was not in a hurry, therefore he let us interact with them for much longer. Also they allowed 3rd dolphins, the alpha male, to join in. It was just an awesome experience. The only, as expected, negative experience was the whole picture deal. They always try to get you with pictures! Too many to choose from and not enough time to go through it all. But don't you want professional pictures of you and dolphins? Agh so many to choose from .... But gosh, that dolphin's kiss caught right on a camera and on video as well ?!? :0) ... sure, but for $232!! Insane! But after all, no regrets ... One of a kind experience, especially when you are not rushed out of the pool but can relax and take your time to swim and interact with these beautiful animals. read more
