I want everybody to be aware of this scam. They do t notify you of pricing. The hotel gave us a different price and to pay when we arrive here. They shot the prices up at arrival. They dont allow you to take pictures or use a gopro even if you are standing outside. As you go to purchase family memories....these are the prices attached. 500$ for photos and a video lol.

Shithole!!!! Beware!!!!! To not get suckered in here do not go here do not buy anything from here it is not worth it.

As an English speaker, I'm not sure that the guided tour was worth it as the Spanish portion and explanations were long and the English versions were condensed (my bf understood both and said we got shortened versions). Most of what we got we already knew from googling. However, the all inclusive tour included food - which might be more worth it finances wise. The tour guide will walk and talk and show you each cenote, swim together in cenote 5 (you can't have access here as a self guide) for exactly 25 minutes. Then once the tour is done you're free to explore in your own. That lasts about 1.5 hours. We then had lunch - choice of pork chun, fish fillet or fish tacos. On the menu it ranges from 130 to 200 pesos a dish already. But included in tour, we got chips and salsa, fruit water (pineapple this time), our meal, and ice cream! After, we went back to swim and check out the spots really quick. Truly, it was pretty quiet and for the most part we had it to ourselves. 3 hours is plenty of time

This place is amazing! So many amazing memories and sweet moments we experienced here! At out resort we were approached by a lady with AmStar. She sold us on the excursion. We were able to zip line, atv and swim in cenotes for a slamming deal! It was almost to good to be true. There was a shuttle that picked us up from the resort, took us to the excursion and then it took us back as well. The excursion was about an hour away from the resort we stayed at. When we got there we were given Vania as our guide. She was so amazing I gave her all of the pesos we had after our adventure. She was awesome. The zip lining portion was fun and beautiful. The views from the towers was amazing. The swimming portion in the cenotes was crazy. I was scared at first because its inside of a cave and the water is mad cold. I'm so glad we did it because it was so worth it and we didn't want to get out when it was time. The ATV experience was LIT! We were on those things for at least an hour! There is a Mayan meal that they serve you at the end. Its really good and great for vegetarians! At the end of the excursion I fell that the deal we got was well worth it! I would advise you to take a change of clean cloths as you will want to get out of the wet gear. For the most part they have everything you will need! 5Stars GoNative and Vania!!

We looked into a few different ones and chose this one because it included what we were really wanting (ATV, zip line and swim in Cenote) and was about a 5 hour excursion. We didn't want to take a whole day away from the beach. The staff was excellent! They were all so friendly and made sure to make everyone feel safe. Our guide was quite comical as well. All 3 adventures were a first for me. I can't say I would ever care to ride an ATV again but I was glad I did it. Those things are hard to handle! I was the slow poke in the back of the line . The zip lining was so cool! On the 1st one I kept my eyes closed most of the way and was holding on for my life but I was able to relax a bit for the next 2. I would definitely try it again! The cenote was so refreshing after we had gotten hot and sweaty. They supplied lockers at the start and they do not allow you to take anything with you (cameras included). They have photographers taking photos throughout and you have the option to purchase the flash drive at the end. It was $50. That was more than I expected it to be but worth it because they captured all the thrilling moments. I would definitely recommend this park!

I was curious to learn what the history was behind them but without any formal placard, I had to do some internet research. Turns out, these ruins are a small part of many building groups between Cozumel and Playa del Carmen that were used for Maya women to honor the Goddess Ixchel, a pilgrimage necessary for a healthy pregnancy and childbirth. Three remain - two in Playacar Phase II and one in Playacar Phase I, which is the one I visited. A short walk through the jungle connects all three. It's the only free Mayan rural site in Mexico, and the only Mayan ruins maintained in a contemporary residential communities; therefore, if you're interested in getting a taste of ancient culture while on your beach trip to Playa del Carmen, it might just be worth checking out!

It's very beautiful, super peaceful, we learned some wonderful facts for sure. I also learned from a previous Yelp Commentator of the Goddess Ixchel who was often praised and worshiped by the Mayan women for good health and childbirth. Super interesting to know. Apparently it's so expanded, that you have to pass "phases," which are sections, so in Playacar Phase I and Phase II, you can definitely see it and there are shortcuts through a small jungle to the actual Xaman-Ha Ruins. It's very beautiful!!

Martin and Mike seriously made us feel so welcomed and we got to cross of 3 bucket list items while with them for an afternoon. They tended to us immensely and gave my boyfriend the most spectacular fishing experience of his life. I truly don't think anything will ever top this experience. About 20 minutes into the trip we hooked 5 Mahi mahi and reeled in 4. Then the lines went quiet for a little while and 20 minutes after we hooked a 200 cm SAILFISH ! My boyfriend reeled him in for 40 minutes and finally we brought him onboard and took a photo. It was seriously an experience of a lifetime. I personally reeled in a "Bonita" or tuna and it tasted so delicious sashimi style. Then, after this unbeatable fishing day to top everything off we went snorkeling and swimming with fish and sting rays. One of my bucket list items. Mike afterwards filleted and cleaned up our fish for us to take back to our resort and had the hotel "EL TEJ" make a delicious lunch for us. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Mike and Martin the next time we are in Playa Del Carmen we will DEFINITELY be back for some more amazing fishing!
