We have been using Dells Maid for a few years now for our rental property. The company went under new management a few months ago and since that time their communications and services have been everything I would expect from a cleaning company. We throw last minute rentals in, last minute requests, you name it and they are always able to flex and meet our needs - which is hard to do in the vacation rental business. they also keep an eye on our property and recognize when things are misplaced, damaged, etc so that we can perform appropriate repairs and address issues with renters. Managing a rental business by yourself can be stressful, but I have never ever had to worry about whether my property would be turned over appropriately before the next guests. To people reading prior reviews on thoroughness, I will say that if there are exceptionally grimey things that it would be prudent to perform a deep cleaning first, as a regular cleaning isn't designed from a cost perspective to achieve what you may be looking for. When we requested a quote, we received their recommendation of a deep clean first to appropriately clean the extra grimey stuff (take apart fixtures to clean, etc) and lay a good cleanliness foundation and then perform the cleanings after renters. This was definitely the way to go and now we perform deep cleanings once a year or more frequently if it's recommended. Cleaning large spaces isn't cheap and $450 won't cover a deep cleaning of an entire home no matter where you look. I wish I could give zero stars. I agree with the review post from Vanya S. I wish I read her review before booking this company! I came home when I thought the cleaners would be finishing but no the cleaners left without informing me. Incredibly unprofessional and poor communication. No post-clean walk through to point out the incomplete job. The owner offered to have someone come the next day but who has time for that? Who wants to spend the time to point to all the areas that were not cleaned? I paid $425.00 for basically 3 toilets and 1 shower glass door to be cleaned. I could write pages on how many things were concerning and incomplete. How is this business still getting jobs... maybe from clients who are desperate and in a time crunch like I was. One star serves to indicate how well Dells-Maid worked me into their schedule; I had an event coming up for a business I am trying to start. I have never had a professional cleaner before and was frankly excited that for once, I did have to do all the work. In our walk-through, I emphasized that I most needed the grungy places that had really never been cleaned, as we had been busy with remodeling--doors, switchplates, baseboards. They were here with a few people and were here about an hour; there was no post-cleaning walkthrough and in fact, the co-owner kind of stood over me while I paid. When they were gone, I noticed the only rug had not been vacuumed, several surfaces were dusty, including a large table and a desk, dust bunnies on the floor, and most importantly--all the grime had not been cleaned! I have photos of dust and grime wiped off doors, swtichplates, all the places I had asked to be cleaned. Basically cleaned the insides of the windows, 2 ceiling fans, and swiffered (not mopped) the floor. For $450.00! When I complained, the owner said I had not read the estimate right. She offered to let her husband come back the day before the event to get all the places they missed, which sounded like the opposite of how I want to spend my time--hanging over somebody and going, "there, and there . . . ". Also what if he didn't show up? Then she got personal about my business and how she had been promoting it to her friends but now she wouldn't. The personal threats seemed pretty over the top for someone who just wanted their house reasonable clean for $450! So I guess a bad review is all the power I got at this point. I understand everyone is having a heard time with the pandemic and all but really, just a dash of competence and customer service is all I ask. read more
