Zero stars- would not recommend. Despite having a photo of cherry red hair, my daughter's hair was unchanged. Paid for the service because there was no manager there. Called and went back several times- told that we needed to speak to the owner. NO call backs at all! Finally spoke to the owner by phone, three weeks later, and she actually was rude to me and my daughter. No apology, no offer to make it right, just attitude and disrespect. Despite having a policy framed and hanging in the store about a satisfaction guarantee, we were left with an unsatisfying resolution. I wish I had read these reviews before wasting good money to be treated like this. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. On Tuesday, May 20, I went to Dellaria Salon in Shrewsbury for a balayage and brought a sample photo. The work looked nothing like what I asked for. The next day I went to get it fixed, and it was worse. It was unprofessional and poorly done. I'll attach photos of how it turned out. I paid a lot of money, $552 before tips. I didn't have time to try to get my hair done there again; why give them another chance to fix something they couldn't do the first two times? I contacted them asking for a refund and they denied it, accusing me that what had happened was not true and that they did a perfect job, that they warned me that it was not possible to do the work and that was never the case, the only thing I asked was that he did not change the color of my roots since I needed something low maintenance because I can't go to the salon often, in the example photo the roots are dark like mine, and from there a color gradient starts, which he did not do, the first visit left me a marked line in my hair where you could clearly see that he did not do a gradient or blurring of the color, the next day I went to ask him to do that gradient and he didn't do it, he did a complete highlight and didn't even touch the roots and my hair looked like it had been months of hair growth, also if you saw the photos, there is no consistency in the color that he put on, some parts look oxidized and in other parts bleached out, since he was not careful in the work. Also, he never explained to me that the color or the work was not going to be possible. At first, he only suggested doing full or baby highlight because otherwise it would take him many hours to do the work. I told him I wanted the balayage, which is why I went with enough time. He also started 40 minutes late. The work he did was rushed and poorly done. He just wanted to leave, and the next day too. He wanted to finish early because he said it was his day off. read more

SO HORRIBLE. I have never had a worse experience in a salon ever in my life. I brought my daughter here to get her hair done for her birthday and she has a birthday party in two days. I had called twice prior to the appointment to explain what was happening, my daughter had dark brown/red hair and that she wanted to get as light as possible in one session, I asked if we could come in at 4 and they said yes and that they would have enough time to get it done by 8 (closing hour). We were there until 12:30 AM. 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM we were there. They lied to us about the products they were using on her hair calling it "treatment" when it was really lightener/bleach. There were two girls working on her hair and the first one messed it up, got scared and left, the other one took over and it went from orange to bright orange and red. Multiple times, the workers stood far away from my daughter and her friend and they heard the workers talking down on my daughter. They all knew they were too inexperienced and uneducated to get the job done but instead of saying that prior to the appointment they killed my daughter's hair. In the end it's a light brown/orangey mix and her roots are somehow lavender. Throughout the entire 8 hour process, the "hair stylist" tried to guilt trip us and instead of paying attention to what my daughter wanted she would talk about how it's "progress". read more

I was shocked to be charged recently $320 for a trim, toner, and blow-dry! With a tip, I spent almost $400. I felt extremely over-charged and would never go back to this salon. Please don't end up being completely shocked and surprised like I was. Also, being a new customer, I thought there would be some kind of incentive, but there wasn't. The prices say "start at $175" on their website. I would never in all my life imagine they would charge me $320 for a pretty routine and quick hair appointment. I didn't even get a foil or any complicated color. Just a toner that will end up washing out (already has), and a mediocre haircut. Save your money and go some place else! Before the new management was in place, I had been here once before and had a pleasant experience. I was aware that it would be a bit pricier than normal but was happy with how my hair looked. However I recently went here to get a hair cut, blow dry, and full balayage done (same thing as last time). I was absolutely shocked when the total came out to be $250 MORE expensive than my last visit. There was also absolutely no discussion of price during the consultation and the stylist even ended up using an extra expensive toner that I was charged for without letting me know. Really disappointed because the quality is great, but please inquire about the prices before you get any service done here. Feeling BEAUTIFUL.... Huge shout out to KELLI LASKE of Dellaria Salon in Shrewsbury. I was looking for s fresh color, cut and counsel on how to keep my hair luxurious on a daily basis. Kelli took her time and explained how the color process works and gave me tips on how to care for hair at home between visits. The Salon environment is amazing. All staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home the minute you walk in. The look and style of the salon is high end and makes you feel like you are getting ready for the red carpet. I got a chance to meet the owner, Bella, and she was so kind and welcoming. The Design stylists work very well together cresting an environment that is Professional and Supportive. Dellaria is an aesthetically pleasing salon and the staff is friendly. They are definitely more geared towards women's hair than men's. A men's cut is going to cost you about $40. My cut is very basic and it seems I need to get it cut more often since coming here as they don't cut it short enough. I'm more of a barber shop kind of guy as they are more used to dealing with men's hair. Most times I come here I'm the only guy. Needless to say, I think I'm better off going to a barber shop going forward. If you're a woman, I'd say check it out. They appear to have quite a following. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This salon has terrible customer service and their manager is non existent & does not care about the experience of the patron. I paid $415 dollars for a full foil, blow dry and cut, their website quoted ~$175 for long hair. My hair is not even close to the reference picture, it actually doesn't look any different than when I walked in there. I called the salon for a breakdown of the cost and the manager was unable to provide that, stating it was for the toner. Mind you, my hair is not toned and it's not worth 495 dollars after tip. Do not use this chain salon. They WILL rip you off and never call you back. You're better off going to Supercuts. I would not recommend anyone to go here, especially a blonde. They don't know what they're doing and can't figure out how to properly serve their community. I'm still waiting on a call back from the manager. Have visited this salon a few times with excellent service and color. Sadly stylist no longer there, tried someone new. Very nice girl however desired color not achieved even though we discussed my issues with shade/tone.. 3 hrs I sat there. Left as just exhausted and knew color wasn't going to happen... golden shades not my thing.. kept telling her ash shade and it's been difficult to achieve had pictures to show even. Nope. Paid girl at front desk what was asked even tipped well got home and neighbor said nice golden color hair The way the sun hits it! I called salon spoke with owner/manager a real piece of work (being kind), her tone And comments were just awful.. I checked you out your hair was ash (nope I have reddish roots, probably needs to lay off the heavy eyeliner can't see, sorry) She charged me for foils no foils even done. Stylist said I didn't need foils! $180 for one process color, 2 toners (not my fault desired shade not achieved) and haircut! Outrageous I feel, but then again maybe business is slow need the cash...Stay away from here way overpriced, stylist really don't listen (sad because she was pleasant and tried, the owner killed it for me.. rude thing I will never spend my money there again) and the owner well needs big time customer service skills!
