I went to Judah Food Market to try have Polish food for lunch. But I saw Frytki Belgijskie so, after ordering a zapiekanka from the food cart next to this place, I had to get some Belgian frites because why not? Who can resist hot fried potatoes? Definitely not me!
I went with the traditional frites with ketchup and mayo. The potatoes were thick-cut with a crunch from the outside and the inside is nice, hot and fluffy. They put your frites in a cone and give you a stick to eat them with so you don't burn your fingers or get them greasy or salty. These frites are very hot and fresh out of the fryer so, you may have a stick but you will burn your mouth - wait a few minutes before eating them if you value the roof of your mouth.
They are made to order so, expect to wait about 10 minutes. There's only 1 guy manning this food cart. He takes orders and takes payment, makes the frites, and call you when your food is ready. He's quite nice and friendly.
They also have sweet potato frites if regular potatoes isn't what you want. If you want goulash on your frites, they have it. Your fries come with sauce for free. You can choose from ketchup, Mayo, bbq habañero, tomato & basil, eggplant paste (similar to babaganoush I would imagine), and honey & mustard Mayo.
