    Hmmm...how to dissect the mango?
    Maria F.

We didn't try everything, but we tried a good sampling of everything. The verdict - let's go again! The croissant was buttery and flakey. The cheese roll was a good afternoon snack. Just sweet enough. The mango was delightful. A nice, sweet treat. We ate the mango cake at the bakery and enjoyed a few iced beverages - iced coffee and iced chocolate. The air con, the iced drinks, the mango cake and people watching made for a lovely afternoon. Try it! enjoy!

Old Town Pasadena, California. Next to Nana's Green Tea, Delight is A very good French bakery, no breads, but Delight feeds the pastry hunger in me -- all the pastries, cakes and gelati are excellent. There is a smallish macaron counter with popular flavors and can be boxed up to bring home. The house made sandwiches (focaccia), breakfasts and lunch items are very good to excellent also and with great prices. With about 15 tables (a couple of tables for larger groups), there's a steady stream of people here and it would be a matter of time when lines will form out the door. Service is super attentive. The minute you come in the person behind the counter comes to assist. Ohhh almost forgot, savory pastries (caprese and artichoke and cheese) are super well-made and the crusts delightfully light and crispy :-) I keep coming back. End of Yelp.

Sooo glad we gave this place another try!!! Fabulous!!! We ordered the pistachio matcha croissant, the cinnamon roll, and the lychee tart. Cinnamon roll wasn't line Cinnabon ok don't expect some big fluffy roll but it was very cinnamony and frosting was great. The croissant was beautiful and flavor was subtle but there. Very flaky and buttery and just delicious!! The tart was my absolute flavor!! Felt super dense at first but when you bite into it, the almond, raspberry, and lychee flavors are all there and so light and beautiful. We wished we ordered more because we just want to try everything!!

Wow. It was my first time here, having heard about it from my wife since they opened. The gentleman who helped us was patient and really helpful. My wife and I shared what I believe was a Matcha Pistachio Croissant. The pistachio filling was incredible.

I found this bakery completely by happenstance when I went to the new 'viral' Nana's Green Tea next door and didn't want to join the long queue...I decided to check out this place instead. The owner should thank Nana's for a lot of 'accidental' new customers. As a mango dessert maven I was delighted to find at least 3 kinds of mango concoctions. I got the "Mango Delight" (1/2 mango and 1/2 white chocolate mousse) it was so yummy and refreshing! I wish they also had mango eclair then I would come here every week! Will try their gelato next time.

We were on our way somewhere else when I smelled something buttery in the air. I told my partner, "I have to eat this smell," and we followed our noses to Delight Pastry. The large display of pastries is sure to dazzle, and we spend a good minute looking over the multitude of offerings in the case. Service was fast and efficient, and we sat ourselves. CAPRESE DANISH: 5/5. Perfectly balanced flavors. Tomatoes were fresh and the balsamic was bright. HAM AND CHEESE CROISSANT: 4/5. I know it would have been SO good if it were warmed up and the cheese were a little melty. KOUIGN AMANN: 3/5. My favorite pastry. Perhaps a personal preference, but I wish the sugar were a little more caramelized. It also was not as rich as I am accustomed to this pastry being.

At Delight Pastry .... wow. The smoked salmon croissant stopped me in my tracks.. flaky, buttery layers topped with delicate smoked salmon, fresh dill, pickled onion, and a cloud of whipped cream that somehow ties it all together. Savory, bright, and balanced in that effortless way that makes you pause after the first bite. The salad was crisp and refreshing, a perfect counterpoint, and the cold oat-milk latte was smooth and well pulled.. The kind of drink that quietly tells you they care about the details. The place was super clean with a lot of comfortable seating.. A Simple lunch, done exceptionally well. Perhaps perfection.

Delight Pastry comes to my rescue! I forgot to get a cake for my birthday and they had same day pick up options of their 3 best selling cakes. I went with Berry Delight which I didn't expect to like as much as I did: my guests loved the frosting (and this is a group that prefers less sweet desserts) and I found the vanilla cake to be perfect. Delight always has a special place in my heart!

The matcha pistachio croissant is to die for! It's incredibly soft, fresh, and flaky, and the filling is absolutely amazing. I'm officially addicted and already thinking about my next one!

Was craving the raspberry croissant so I went to get this! Small quaint cute coffee shop with plenty of seating. The service was efficient: prepare and ask for what I was looking for then pursue to box them bag the items: matcha pistachio and raspberry croissants. Got what I needed in 10 minutes. Thanks

Absolutely love this place! The transplants took over the neighboring bakeries so I went to Delight. I needed a quick bite so I tried their Jalapeño and cheddar scone. It's been a day and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm going back to get a bunch of them. They had the spiral chocolate croissant on their IG so I decided to try it. It was incredible. Inside it had a light chocolate custard or pudding. Not sure but it was delicious. I'm kind of a fatty so I wish it had Nutella instead. But it might be too rich. Service is always on point. Other times I've been and they are always kind and helpful. Lots of great spots to sit and eat.

Lots of pastries to choose from

Cute pastry spot in old town Pasadena. Upbeat music played in the background. Service was great, very friendly staff. I ordered the mango delight; the center of it was filled with chucks of mango, very yummy, a little too sweet for me but still good. The outer layer was crunchy and thin, like mango chocolate. Love the different textures when biting into it. Ordered Napoleon for my mom and the chocolate heaven for my daughter. Lots of options to choose from. Also got their Nutella croissant and ham and cheese croissant for breakfast hehe

I drove all the way from Long Beach to visit my discount hobby mechanic Bobby; and yes it was worth the one hour drive. In a sense, I am thankful for the grifting, because it lead me here. If you're indecisive Kinrose Creamery does offer samples. I ended up ordering two scoops of Saffron Pistachio Rose, & Orange Flower Pistachio. I definitely savored this unique frozen dessert in this unforgivable heat. Loved my choices and I will be coming back through the summer. The customer service is excellent, the establishment is very clean, & nicely decorated as well. It appears they have local art on the walls, and it's also well air conditioned. Additional information: parking is a bit of a hassle in this area. I ended up paying for a one day parking pass, which is ten bucks and having to walk about two blocks. I did not mind the short stroll but do recommend to look up neighboring businesses to get the best out of the one day pass. The Egg Heaven was honestly one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The flavors were light but still incredibly satisfying. It was also definitely worth the price, it came with three pieces, which was more than enough to share between two people. The Iced Honeycomb Latte was just as good. It doesn't come sweetened at first, but as the dalgona slowly melts into the coffee, it adds the perfect amount of sweetness. Came here for the souffle pancakes and they didn't disappoint!…read more My party of 3 stopped by Saturday afternoon 2:30 pm and it wasn't crowded. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor since it was such a nice day out. They have all of their desserts on display in the case, so you can peruse the options and see what looks good. So many of the desserts looked good, like the matcha yuzu chiffon crepe cake or the rose and lychee crepe cake. We ordered via the kiosk and got the mango sunshine souffle pancake ($16.50) and well as a couple drinks. My drink was the white peach lemon jasmine bliss ($6.25), with 50% sweetness and less ice. Even though there are signs everywhere saying that it takes 15-20 minutes for the souffle pancakes to be cooked, ours came out super quickly, in 5 minutes or so. We got it with the sauce on the side, but I regret doing that as I saw others getting it with the sauce on top and it was beautiful. The pancake was super fluffy and a bit eggy as well. We all really enjoyed it with the mango sauce. I made the mistake of eating the pancake first before trying a sip of my tea. The pancake was pretty sweet, so I could barely taste my drink, but I think it was good? I could taste a bit of the lemon but definitely not the white peach, which is a lighter flavor. I got a slice of their Hokkaido cheese cake roll for $7 to go and had it the next day. It was okay but definitely a bit pricy for what you get. I'd love to come back to try their other desserts and pancakes!

It is not really cute or aesthetic in any way... and the whole place could use a refresh. There is a covered patio with a few tables outside but at the moment it is a bit haphazard and not the nicest because the space next door is doing construction & there is a large dumpster on Green Street. We ordered Black tea & Floral Pineapple Blossom tea drinks, Peach Crepe Cake and a Peach Souffle Pancake ($17.50) via the kiosk. When you order, you receive a text that lets you know your order number, has a receipt, and also an expected time of delivery. The drinks were ready about 15 minutes. They were both fine, and prepared correctly. The peach crepe cake was brought out a few minutes later. My mom enjoyed it and it looked very pretty. Then the time that the entire order was supposed to be ready came and went. I checked in with Nick at the counter and he said that my souffle pancake would be ready in 5 minutes. About 7 minutes later, when my mom was done with her cake. Nick brought it over and set it down in next to me. It was jiggly, huge, and very wobbly. I slid it over so it was in front of me, and the top pancake fell off of the stack, and flipped over so the whipped cream side was on the counter. I tried to flip it back over and put it on top of the stack, but it fell apart. At this point, I was so frustrated with the situation and grossed out by the possibility of eating whipped cream and pancake that had been on the counter, that I asked Nick to remedy the situation. He offered to make a new pancake, but since this one had taken 40 minutes to come out, I was not willing to wait that long again. He kindly offered an alternative suggestion which I accepted. I tried the Creme Brulee crepe cake which was mildly flavored and pretty tasty. (Maybe I should have just gotten it in the first place, but I had really wanted to try the souffle pancake which I've since & sadly lost interest in.) With that, we bid Motto adieu, and it is unlikely that I will return. A few additional notes: Parking in the area is metered and $1.25/hr with a max of 2 hours, the single bathroom is functional, but there is some problem with the ceiling (there is a gaping hole covered by plastic) making for an unpleasant and potentially unsanitary situation. This should be remedied immediately! Peace.

We didn't have any of the brunch dishes this visit--we specifically came for the coffee and pastries--but after this experience, we'll definitely be coming back to try the food next time. The cortado was made with Boxx Coffee Roasters beans, and after chatting with the barista, I learned they also have a dedicated water filtration system specifically for their coffee. That level of attention to detail isn't something you expect from every brunch café, and it definitely showed in the final cup. The cortado was well executed. The milk was smoothly integrated with the espresso, creating a balanced body that held together throughout the drink instead of separating after a few sips. It was served in the proper glass with clean presentation and solid latte art. The temperature was slightly hotter than my personal preference, which is understandable in a brunch setting, but overall it was a great cortado and far better than what many brunch cafés serve. The pain au chocolat was outstanding as well and a perfect pairing with the cortado. The service made the visit even better. Our server, Michael (aka Bev), was welcoming, attentive, and provided excellent service from start to finish. I also had the chance to compliment the barista on the cortado. Although I didn't get her name, she was very kind, took a few minutes to explain their coffee program, and shared that they use Boxx Coffee beans along with a dedicated water system to ensure the cleanest possible cup. It's always nice to meet people who genuinely care about what they're serving. Overall, Oh La La exceeded my expectations. It's refreshing to find a brunch café that puts this much effort into its coffee program while also serving great pastries. I'll definitely be back--next time for the food as well.

I know that food is super expensive these days, but it was too much for what it was. The jambon beurre was not traditional; the baguette was so thick and wide, which overpowered the ham and cheese. The bakery was on the station because of the things it was going through. First the air conditioner went out, then the water heater. It was one thing after another. So we went out to show some love and support this small business. It is located in a small shopping center with decent parking. It's a small space with display a display case and a cute little table and two chairs. My husband tried the blue velvet cake and I got a cinnamon role and a slice of 7up cake. Blue velvet was delicious..(sorry no pictures, we ate it when we got home). My 7up cake taste just like it did when I was growing up in South Central. The cinnamon roll was amazing warmed up the next day. That's right I said the next day. The owner and everyone who worked in there were super nice. My husband and the owner realized they knew a bunch of people from their time in Lynwood/Compton area both playing basketball. We had a great time, we ended up staying for about an hour. Great time, please go out and support.
