The Aguachile is exceptional and the best we've ever had. Other favorites are the Tostadas de Atún and The Montados de bacalao. The Bocadillo de Bacalao was tasty and substantial, but I like the Montado version better. The Patatas Bravas are cubed and although seasoned and laced in crema, they were a little dry, but still good. The dish that was a clear miss was the Crispy Rice with Atún or Salmon. It was not crispy and was batter covered rice with a small bland topping. Service is usually good, but was not as nice as usual on this visit. Our first young man was super pleasant and helpful, but his shift ended. The young lady who took over was in a big hurry to sample food and chat with her coworkers. She started clearing our plates without asking and put a dirty plate on top of out Patatas Bravas while we were eating them! Mind you, there was no one waiting for our seats. A hiccup, but not cool at the prices charged. We'll try to avoid her station next time.

Think aloe water, mochi ice cream, a huge ramen selection, picky and some Asian sauces. Now, the Asian selection is not as good as some of the shops in Zona Rosa, but it's still decent. They also have a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables and meat, too. All in all, it's a great spot to have in the neighborhood to pick up some groceries. Staff has always been kind to me, too!

It had a decent selection of pocky, mochi ice cream, ramen, dumplings/gyoza, salted seaweed, sauces and oils...all my life essentials, at not cheap but not bad prices. It has plenty of regular groceries too, with tons of veggies and fruits, some pre-cut for 10-12 pesos (a total steal in comparison to superama). It's also right next to a ramen shop...hmm. I spent an hour+ just walking up and down the aisles. Yes, it is pricey, but also they had everything I needed and a lot I wanted. Items I thought I would not find in Mexico at all. Hector, a chef and one of the conceierges who helps and advises customers, was incredibly helpful. His English is perfect. His knowledge of food, beverages, culinary items, wine, and pretty much everything, was encyclopedic. I was there the first time 2 weeks before Christmas. Beautiful displays, many home items also for sale. Very unobtrusive Christmas much playing in the background. The produce was gorgeous, the bakery sublime. Need pork processed in 50 ways? They have that. Maybe an Italian lunch? They have that too, and sushi. The coffee bar serves truly huge cups of richly flavorful coffee, and has a massive selection of fresh beans. Seafood was beautifully presented and freshest possible. The olive oil display was so enormous I could not get it all in 1 panoramic photo. I am sure my friends think I am crazy for sending them so many photos of the inside of a grocery store, but as a friend who is coming to CDMX asked, what is the name of the store and how do I get there. Prices are high in most cases, when compared to other major supermarkets here. What is worst, however, is the attitudes of most of the staff. Very condescending and dismissive. Some are friendly & try to be helpful but mostly not.

I especially miss the guard who would always take care of my dog while I went inside to shop. Wish I'd gotten a photo of the two of them together; Penelope always looked so happy with him! They have lots of cute dishes and other kitchen items. I rarely buy decorative pieces, but I'm glad to have this one as a warm reminder of my favorite shop in Mexico City.
