So it was our very first time at Deli Delicious... It was late lunch with my 8year old... walked in and wanted to know what kind of veggie sandwich I am going to get... was greeted by KiKi ... from far she asked what kind of bread ... I am like huh she goes again from the back of the counter (sandwich making station) what kind of bread...? I was like give me a sec let me find out... Its our first time... I guess me saying that kinda pissed her off or annoyed her which ended up just attitude after attitude from her... I asked her can my 8 yr get just sandwich with pepper jack cheese and tomatoes on the side... without even saying yes or no. Her ans "hoe many bread and what kind of bread" tell me size also. Then I ordered my vegetarian sandwich and she goes you want all the topping or not... I am like which ones she goes look at the list bellow... (one laminated paper with toppings on it on the counter?) KiKi brings my daughters sandwich without tomatoes on the side so my daughter kindly reminds me daddy didn't get my tomatoes. She looks at her and said well here's your sandwich and will get you tomatoes after... Lorina (I think that's the name she gave me when I asked) brought brought my sandwich, tomatoes and curly fries. Lorina also saw we didn't have napkins and politely went and got us napkins also. lorina has the best service and smile. Even at the end leaving KiKi didn't say bye or anything when she was just standing st the register when Lorina from back said thanks guys come back soon... KiKi calls herself mgr for some contractor who came in to fix something... gosh she is new mgr and if this is the presentation for your store then I feel sorry. Hope this changes. Let me preface this by saying Deli Delicious is always consistent when it comes to their food. We very much enjoy it and go to the various locations often. This review is about the disappointing customer service our family received today. We walked in and were immediately "greeted" by a stone-faced woman who looked peeved that she even had to be there. She barely acknowledged that we were standing there and clearly had an attitude (I do not know her name but I do know she was wearing blue contacts). I immediately thought wow this lady is rude, but didn't want to let it affect our dining experience so I brushed it off. Food comes out promptly (brought by a younger girl working in the back who was very sweet) and we go about enjoying our dinner. We get up to leave and I walk to the register to place a to-go order for someone back at home. The woman who originally took our order is standing there. I walk up and state politely that I would like to place an order to go please. Again, no acknowledgement that I am standing right in front of her or have said anything. She didn't even look up. By this time I am really starting to get annoyed but bit my tongue. She finally looks up and acknowledges us, takes my order and walks away. When I received my food, I noticed there wasn't any sauce in the bag so I go up to the counter and politely ask if I can have some ranch. AGAIN, the woman does not even look at me and instead continues to do whatever she was doing without uttering a word. Even a simple "Sure, let me finish this up and I will be right with you" would have sufficed - something we all can understand as employees can be busy and have to prioritize their orders. She finally turns around without a word after finishing up what she was doing and gets a side of ranch. At that point, it felt personal. I don't know if she just didn't like us or what, but the behavior was completely uncalled for. I understand that people have bad days. We've all been there. I am not the type of person who is reactive or lets things get to her, but one thing that bothers me the most is rude employees, especially when I have done nothing to deserve it. As someone who has experience in customer service, there is no excuse for treating people poorly no matter how little you like them or how much you are dealing with personally. You are the face of that company so as hard as it is, suck it up and put a smile on your face. One more thing - be prepared to ask for any sauce you might want and for them to reluctantly give it to you like you have just asked them to donate a kidney. We had to ask for a side of ranch (sides are already tiny) for a large order of fries, ketchup (handed us 4 packets...1 for each of us i guess? lol) and a side of bbq sauce for the "bbq" chicken sandwich we ordered. Last straw- this was our go to lunch place but being greeted by being screamed at what bread were having before we even get through the door every time was exhausting & anxiety ridden. They make you go in their order, helping multiple at once which results in your order being wrong. We have had our order made wrong every. Single. Time. Then huge attitude when having to fix. All by the main girl there. Just got Uber eats & wrong bread, wrong toppings & no water. I'm done with this place it's a nightmare. read more

Go to this Deli D because the traffic to the one on Herndon is heavier. Have gotten good service in the past but tonight was bad. I came in and started to place my order Halfway through my order another person who had ordered ahead came in. She stopped taking my order and waited on the guy who came in after me! After she completed the man's transaction she started making my sandwich, but I was ordering two! I almost walked out. Rude service! Finish with one order before helping the next customer! I accidentally ordered the wrong salad, came back and they were kind enough to just switch it out for me. The worker seems kinda distracted and someone from the back kept on telling her she had customer. It's funny how he couldn't just come help me out himself instead of having to tell her to help me twice. The salad came out to be $8.50, and the funny thing is I have to order an extra item for me to be able to check out, shouldn't i have an option to add or not to add on anything extra? So i got extra cheese, bit it didn't seem like I got extra cheese at all. The portion was kinda sad for the price i had to pay, but i guess it is what it is. I've had deli delicious numerous times, but this was he first time I had been at this location. There is a lot more seating space and I like the set up. The drinks aren't in the way of the cashier line and the menu is digital and big. There were only two employees but they both did a fantastic job with making my order. My sandwich look great and tasted delicious. The other deli d's usually always forget something in my sandwich, this one did not! Thanks for a great first time at this location. I'm a big fan of deli delicious sandwiches. After having a baby recently, I love that this location offers "online ordering." It makes it so much more convenient, or at least I thought it did. The last few times we've placed an online order, the order has been messed up some how. Either ingredients we wanted omitted were still included or ingredients I wanted included were left off! The best was this morning. I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwich and somehow was given a buffalo chicken sandwich! I don't know if it's sheer laziness of the staff or what. But please hire people that understand the online ordering system!! read more

I never seem to live & learn from this location. Inconsistent as usual. Next time I will drive an extra 2 miles & get what I ordered. Their customer service is much better than the last owner's workers but to leave out ingredients that are suppose to come on the sandwich or you specifically ask for a change of cheese, they still can't get it right which leaves you very frustrated, it's not rocket science to read an order & make it as asked! read more

The manager of the Deli Delicious on Fowler and Shepard is so loud! She yells across the store to ask what type of bread each person wants when they enter and yells when you leave. She does not have a pleasant tone. It is not enjoyable to hear when you are trying eat. She was also talking on the phone with an ear piece while working with the public. It was so rude! A couple walked out because of it. Then she blamed her rudeness on training. And blamed the girls that they left while she was multitasking. Hint! Do not multitask in front of the register!! When I brought up my receipt because the young lady at the register when we arrived accidentally overcharged us $1.50. She stated loudly to the entire restaurant that first I had to wait for her to finish her phone call for me to be refunded. Then when she did it she made sure to state loudly that I now had my $1.50 back. She is one who needs training!!! My advice to the new employees is RUN!!! I will enjoy Deli D at another location from now on or go to another sandwich shop. read more

I mistakenly ordered an online order at this location instead of another. I was already unhappy with having to drive all the way out to it, and on top of that, when I got home, my sandwich looked like the picture I'll attach. I paid for extra avocado on this and there's barely the regular amount. Also, my boyfriend's Turkey, Cream Cheese, and Sprouts sandwich had no sprouts and none of the veggies he added to it. So disappointing because I wasn't about to drive all the way back out to get them fixed. There was no one in the restaurant except the four young workers who didn't look like they were doing much. This is by far my favorite Deli Delicious in town! The food is always great, the service is excellent & the restaurant is always clean! I drive out of my way, past two other Deli D's to come to this location! The owner walked around & checked on the customers to make sure everyone was happy with their food! Love the food & service! I was a loyal advocate for deli delicious before today. I eat there regularly 1-3 times a week so I still can't believe the service I just received. This location makes me want to never speak of deli delicious again. If I hadn't ever been to another location before I would think that deli d is the worst restaurant in fresno solely because of the costumer service I received. I placed an order over the phone at 12pm and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I got to the restaurant 20 minutes later and paid for my food then sat down to wait. I watched other people walk in the door and order and then there food was given to them. 20 minutes went by and i still didn't have my food and another costumer had also been waiting forever and was telling them it was unacceptable but I stayed quiet hoping that being nice would earn me some compensation when my food was finally ready. 20 minutes later my food was given to me. AT 1PM, AN HOUR AFTER I ORDERED IT. 40 MINUTES AFTER THEY SAID IT WOULD BE READY. After I took my food and delivered it to my family I came back to ask for a refund and expected at the very least an apology but was offered neither. The first employee that I talked said she was "in charge" but clearly has no future in any sort of management or business because not only was she rude but also she wouldn't take responsibility for what happened. she said I needed to bring the food back in order to receive any money back. I can't tell if she's honestly that dumb or if she just wants to make sure that she will never excel at her job. I called Brittany (manager) and she said the owner and her agree there's nothing they can do for me because "it just got busy" BULLSHIT! That is not how you run a business, especially not a new location. I will never return and I will make sure all my friends stop coming there as well. To the store owner: fire your terrible employees because when you have to close your store it will be there fault you have no business. read more
