Here you will find wines from all over the world, spirits and beer. The highlight has to be the beer selection. Over 250 different kinds of beer from the usual (Stiegl, Fransiskaner) to a fantastic choice of Belgium beers (Leffe, Judas) to the downright obscure (Crocodile beer, Hoegaarden Appel). A beer lovers oasis! They also have a fantastic whiskey/whisky selection here with most everything you could possibly want, classic malts such as Oban and more varied commercial brands such as Jim Beam Extra. Also available are liqueurs beyond counting and a decent variety of ports and sherries. And the best thing about Ammersin are the prices. Very, very reasonable and around 10-20% off of any other alcohol store I have found so far. Well worth a visit!

The käsespätzle was creamy, cheesy, and flavorful topped with crispy salty onions - an absolute dream. The beef goulash had a more subtle flavor, the beef was soft and paired well with the potato dumplings. Both were hearty comfort dishes that left you full and satisfied. This place definitely deserves more recognition as we just happened to stumble upon it but it will now be one of my favorite spots in Austria!
