Ignore the 1-star guy.... They're awesome!…read more I needed to get a 30"x40" poster printed for a work project in North Calgary so I hit up Staples as I always do. Unfortunately, this time, Staples really dropped the ball. The print came back pixelated and full of compression artifacts. What a waste of time. I decided to e-mail a dozen print shops across Calgary to get an idea of price, print quality, and to find out whether this size is even available elsewhere.... I sent the e-mail at 2:48PM and Alyssa at Printwise responded back at 2:51PM with all the information I needed. AMAZING! The only other print shop that responded to my e-mail was Calwest later that day (someone by the name of Al Visram who simply said to call him in regards to my questions and that they'll basically charge $80!!!!) Haha. Are you kidding??? Printwise, on the other hand, only wanted $55 and Alyssa already gave me the answers I was looking for via e-mail. Nice customer service though... "call me!" *ahem* ;) Anyways, I uploaded my poster as an e-mail attachment and gave them the go-ahead for 1 copy. Again, they were quick to reply that they've submitted the work order. Then, a few hours later, they sent me another e-mail letting me know it's done and available for pickup at my convenience. JUST BRILLIANT! When I went down to their store in-person, the staff was very pleasant an--WOW the poster turned out better than expected!!! 10/10!!! TL;DR: Printwise seems like a small contender amongst the larger print shops in Calgary but they certainly shouldn't go unnoticed. They can produce a quality product at a competitive price. And their e-mail response time is just impeccable! Printwise is certainly worth the drive from North Calgary. Shoutout to Calwest, Digital Post, Apache, and Print Three for ignoring my e-mail. And of course lets not forget Staples. Today Printwise came out on top!
