The transitions from song to song were smooth and natural. Tom knew exactly how long to let each special dance go. Robb Smith Productions came to me as a referral. Our initial conversation was fantastic, Robb was…read moreprofessional & knowledgeable about the industry. He made it a point to note that HE would be the DJ for my wedding if we hired his company. Upon entering my song selections on the company website, I noticed there was a different DJ named that was going to be staffing our event. I immediately wrote Robb an email, to which he responded that another opportunity came up that he personally was unable to pass up, but ensured me that one of his qualified staff would be there in his place (although 4 days out he was still not able to name who it would be). I was frustrated but being 4 days before the wedding I didnt have much choice. Unfortunately the staff that he sent DID NOT deliver satisfactory service. In summary, these were my main frustrations with our experience: 1. Robb Smith (the owner) failed to communicate the staffing change, and he failed to staff someone in an appropriate amount of time to give me an opportunity to see if they would be compatible. 2. THE DJ PLAYED THE WRONG INTRO SONG FOR ME AND MY WEDDING PARTY. We only had 1 song for our wedding party & me/my husband to enter the reception to. I provided a list of all the specific songs I wanted to have played. Instead of playing my requested song "Uptown Funk" he played "Eye of the Tiger". You get one shot at the introduction to your reception... he failed miserably. 3. He played ALL 4 "line dance" (Cha cha slide, Wobble) all back to back instead of spreading them out throughout the evening. He also did this w/Polka songs, & slow dances. I think its self explanatory that the songs need to be mixed up throughout the night. 4. THEY STILL USE CD's...AND THEY KEPT SKIPPING!!! 5. I had multiple complaints that the DJ was rude to my guests when they had certain requests. After the fact, I called Robb..he was responsive & said he would address the situation.

They were able to incorporate entertainment that had an entire room of 200+ people involved and engaged, they coordinated well with our other venders to nail down the nights pacing, and Scott played and transitioned music wonderfully. It felt comforting knowing that we didn't have to worry about our timeline because we knew it was in good hands, in fact it breezed by so quickly that I rarely looked at my watch. Scott & Jina were the perfect tandem on our perfect day and I sincerely do not think we could have made a better Dj selection elsewhere.

They truly were a shining light on our wedding day as far as accuracy being there being knowledgeable and doing everything they could to make our day perfect.
