I had the pleasure to attend and graduate from good old DeForest High School in the 90's. I went back for a performance of You Can't Take It With You on 4/30/16, I had been a theater geek in high school and this show was the first one I had stage managed. The director was the same that I had and it was nice to see her again. The play was held in the Performance Art Center. This had been the parking lot during my day. The PAC was really nice and much bigger than the little auditorium I had worked in. Seats were comfortable and didn't seem to have a bad sightline in the place. The play was really well done. The set was large and true to the play. All the tech cues were so smooth, I was envious as I remembered my old light board and minimal lights. The actors were so good for high school kids. The DeForest High School PAC is a nice venue to see a play and the kids do a really nice job. Go and see the next play! read more

Best PAC and drama director ever! The stage manager in charge of all things technical (Brett) is awesome and the sets and costumes are done to perfection! State of the art theater space and orchestra pit. Acoustics are amazing. Not a bad seat in the entire house and the musicals in collaboration with choir and band directors are phenomenal and worth every standing ovation they get year after year! read more
