The cashier wrote a receipt on a generic yellow receipt book that says TSH Farmhouse sign $19.99 + tax $1.92 total $21.91, that is correct. It has a receipt number and says retain for your records. The cashier never gave me the printed receipt from the register. My charge card was charged a total of $219.09 which is $199.90 + 19.19 tax. Obviously the cashier added a zero at the end of $19.99. Nothing is EVER priced with a dollar amount and .90 cents at ANY STORE. Mistake or on purpose? I don't know. but why not cross reference the receipt number that I was given with the odd charge of $199.90 on the printout cash register? Of course I put in a dispute with my charge card company but Miners and Merchants refuse to admit they made a BIG mistake! I will not give up, no store has the right to STEAL from a customer and then lie about it! I still have the Attorney General's office and the BBB to get in touch with about these thieves. I say magical because every time I'm there they have something I'm absolutely interested in or the exact thing I was looking for or occasionally something I didn't know I needed. The most recent occasion was in November when I stopped in, I bought a book from the poet outside who was doing a signing and I really dug his verse. Once I went inside I didn't know if I was going to buy anything further until I looked to my right at the checkout and there was Turquoise paint. I'm an artist and I had just had a dream the previous night of a painting using that color. The only thing is, I didn't have that color at home and there it was. Not only that, but it was super inexpensive. So I picked that up. The friendly gentleman who rang me up said he'd like me to send a picture of the painting once it was done and I said I would. I finished it late last night and sent it to them. I also thought I could thank them here. I love this store and there's always something super cool that happens when I visit. It's just another beautiful aspect of Bisbee Magic. [Painting below: "Luna Nei Sogni Blu" (Moon in Blue Dreams), 01.15.2020, 16" x 20"]
