There is a large hall that can be rented for functions, and in the back of the building is a room that houses a museum dedicated to the men of the CCCs (Civilian Conservation Corps) who constructed this building with all the materials found on site. My dad is a history buff and had things to say about this place--it used to be an amusement park long ago with a slide that went down to the river, the view is ugly now with the rock quarry behind the site, this building may have burned down and been rebuilt a couple times, the statue of Black Hawk out back was once located in a plaza downtown, my grandfather played taps on his bugle as a boyscout in the hall here, etc. I would say that if you are very interested in the local history of the American Indians and you have nothing better to do, then a visit here might be useful. You can be done in little as 10 minutes. Otherwise, skip it. Note: my Garmin took me to a driveway on the other side of the little park, which is a private residence, so avoid that.
