It doesn't matter if you're gay straight or somewhere in between. It doesn't matter if you are white or a person of color. I am considered as a Catholic coming home after X amount of years away from the church. Initially, I started going to Sunday mass 2-3X in a month. Then, I finally broke down realizing that the Catholic Church was calling for me to be back home. With the help of the helpful and friendly staff at the church, I was able to go to my Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) in 11/2014. During the 9-month long class, I was able to learn the very basic knowledge about the Catholic Church. The longer I stayed with the program, the more I knew that it was meant to be. On Easter Vigil, I finished my remaining sacrament in order to be accepted into the church. You know , Father Dick Hyatsu is amazing with his charisma and energy.
