AKI is located inside Habaneras shopping center and its business hours are unusual for a DIY store in this area - it is open till 10 pm including Sundays. The last thing I want to worry about is whether the store is already closed at 5 or 6 pm :) It's not always easy to find an employee if you need to ask something, but once you've caught one you get the answers - they know about the products they sell. They offer heaters and stoves of any type for the winter season - electric, natural gas and firewood. Many items can be bought cheaper elsewhere but it's probably not worth your time. Convenient and free parking of Habaneras shopping center. Update: Just noticed, this is my 100th "first" (first tips and first reviews combined)!

The quality is pretty low but this is exactly what people need in this touristy area. If something breaks - just buy another piece (next time you are on holidays). I haven't tried to return anything broken but problems with returns are common with this type of stores. Average purchase is around €5, it doesn't make sense to even drive here for returns. Buy stuff but bare in mind it may break sooner than you expected. Bought a phone armband for €3.60 a week ago. Still in use :)

You'll get a discount and it's free. There's a small food store on the ground floor selling original Swedish products - buy frozen meatballs to try them at home, they are awesome. I had a problem getting an invoice with VAT/IVA from them (totally my fault, gave them wrong tax info). They got in touch via email the same night offering further assistance and the problem was fixed the next day. Great service, way above the average level in Spain. It is always a pleasure to visit! You can even find pots and pans, home decor, pet supplies, stationary and school supplies, and party decorations. If you need something for your home, I would recommend checking here first for the savings and selection.
