I used to like Décathlon, but the range and quality of their clothes and gear has gone downhill. They hardly sell any other brands outside the house brand (Quechua), which is of questionable quality. Their sleeping bags are cheap, but badly stitched and falling apart. I have socks and tshirts that I bought at Décathlon over 5 years ago that are still going strong, but the newer versions feel much cheaper, so now I can't replace them. All the stores are pretty much identical and this one in Perpignan is no exception. Only it gets really crowded. The guy who helped us was nice (3 stars worth), but the checkout is super slow and illogical. All in all, Décathlon has become a thoroughly boring shopping experience. read more
