I wish I could leave zero stars and warn everyone about Deb! Deb has had my curtains for over 6 months! I checked in with her to make sure she could work on them before even sending them to her house. Month after month I would check in with her and she would say, "getting to it this weekend." I would say OK great! Thanks! I would give her time and space with no reply! I needed a baptism outfit embroidered, so I sent that over a month in advance and asked to have it ready by a certain date. I paid the invoice a week before she had it ready and it wasn't ready by the promised date. When I picked up the outfit it was wrong! She embroidered over detailed stitch work and under the collar! I sent her pictures as to what I wanted and she claimed I didn't mark it on the outfit where I wanted it placed. You can't even read my son's name. I never heard an I'm sorry, how I fix this for your child's baptism? She won't give me money back. I now have to buy a new outfit and rush this. I have lost so much money. I asked for the curtains back, and she never even attempted to work on them. There are SO MANY amazing people in this area, please do yourself a favor and NEVER go with Deb! Response to her response: You can can see just ONE screenshot below of the many times they were promised to me. This went on for months. She never said she couldn't or wouldn't do it. She always said I'm getting to it! I wrote several emails about the embroidery without responses and have completely lost all faith in this person. Why would I send another outfit to be ruined when I have days to get this done for my baby? Oh, and it was my idea to buy another outfit. After thinking it through and getting little response from her, I decided to go with someone else. I'm running out of time! I do not like leaving negative reviews, but it is required in this situation. I wish I could give negative stars. I went to Deb's custom designs to have a custom embroidery wedding blanket made for my brother and future sister-in-law. I wanted the blanket to look similar to a blanket I already had. I had my initial consultation with Deb the first week of September which took over 2 hours. I helped her design the blanket and picked thread colors. I paid her for the blanket which was $162.47. She had over 2 months to make the blanket. I followed up over email multiple times. She told me she was working on it, and it was on her schedule. I finally called her and asked her to pick up the blanket because we were leaving for the wedding in a few days. It wasn't done or ready. When I asked to pick up the blanket, I was then told I needed to supply the blanket to embroider, which was never discussed at my initial consultation. Her excuse was then that she thought the wedding date was later which was very frustrating because I gave her ample time to get the gift made and the wedding date was on the blanket. I had no gift for the wedding. I was still charged $53 for her "design" of a product I never received. I was charged $53 and had no gift for my brother's wedding. I would never buy anything from Deb or work with her. I found another designer on Etsy and got a better design AND the blanket for $86. Please take your business elsewhere. read more

I visited this business to create a patch for my favorite band. We spent some time searching for the correct font and background. It was promised in 1 week. Three weeks later, it was ready. However, the font was not readable and the background was just yellow canvas instead of the variegated gold thread. Unfortunately, I paid the $50+ for the patch and left. I contacted her later that day, to correct the order. She agreed not to catch the check until it was done in a few weeks. Now over 2 months later, she has made a sample that is totally wrong and never approved and cashed my check. Yes, I should have canceled the check, but I am trusting. She also is seriously lacking in common courtesy and is not a pleasant person to do business with. I like to do business with small artisans, but this has soured my opinions. Deborah does amazing work!! She took my ideas for a custom stole and brought them to life! I LOVE the stole she made for me. It is beautiful and I got tons of compliments on it at ordination and graduation from seminary. She was a joy to collaborate with and brings a high level of artistry to her creations. I had our church logo embroidered on shirts for my husband and myself and was very pleased. We purchased the shirts so we could get the color, size/fit and quality we wanted and gave them to Deborah for the logo to be added. The quality of the embroidery was wonderful. i contracted for a minister's stole. the picture shown of the visible part on the back of the minister had NO embroidery on it. When I used it for Ordination there was a huge FTE in LARGE gold letters visible to everyone in the church. I called about it and was told "Oh yes I embroider my logo on everything." I said the picture I have did not have the logo and no offer was made to make another without it. I was told that I could remove it if I were to take a pair of scissors and cut away the thread. I have been doing so for half an hour now without much progress. The stole might be ruined in taking her logo off of it. read more
