Debra charity shop has been open along Otley road for a little while now, which means it's lasting a good innings. (Otley road is a make or break kind of set up it seems.) I've popped in a few times looking for bargains, and the folks working there have always been pleasant. I have to say, the selection of items has always been pretty standard, with clothing, bric a brac, old videos/DVDs/games and such like, but there has never been anything to catch my eye.
It's always worth popping in for a nosy, as you know there may be that one-off amazing, random bit of crockery, etc, but as far as the general range goes it doesn't seem to stand out amongst the other charity shops along the street. (The more established ones seem to have found their niche, I guess, with Sue Ryder being vintage/antiques and BHF being uber about the clothing.) Here's hoping Debra finds theirs! read more
