Located by the Four Corners, the Center for Integrative Health and Healing offers a slew of holistic services, such as acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathic doctor, positional release therapy, cancer care, iv vitamin therapy, pain management, yoga, reiki, primary care by a nurse practitioner, and so much more. They take a team approach to your health, they sit and listen, I mean really listen, and then come up with a plan to get to the root of your health problems. In the spirit of transparency, I help them with their marketing, but before you dismiss my review, you should know that I've also been a patient there and speak honestly about this review. Not only that, but I've helped collect numerous testimonials from patients (I didn't receive their full names in order to protect their privacy) who have shared their incredible success stories.

I get a call telling me all this and offering to reschedule out another 2 months. Then when I asked to be switched to another doctor I was told they didn't know how to do that and that I should look into finding another doctor's office altogether. these people are the absolute worst when it comes to being professional and treating their patients with the respect they deserve and taking the issues they are dealing with serious and they don't do any of this. My dog's veterinarian is more professional than this gaggle of half-ass medical so-called professionals. I had made a series of appointments in advance and at one point I found I was double booked with something g else. I called to switch one day for a time later in the week. While I was in the phone with her it was clear to me she was doing something else and I didn't get a good feeling she was getting my schedule change correctly but she told me she got it and I hung up. The office has a texting system the notifies you 24 hours prior to your next appointment. The following week I became suspicious when I received a text 24 hours prior to the appointment I had cancelled. To avoid any problems and the possibility of incurring a charge I called the office to confirm that my appointment had been changed. It had not. I fixed the issue and hung up. The next day I should have received a text message confirming my next appointment but I never did. Again I became suspicious. The next day I navigated icy conditions to go to the office for my appointment and I was told I didn't have one. I was told this after she was typing on the computer because she said that her other hand was cold and she needed to warm it on a portable heater. I was told they would squeeze me in but I opted to leave and cancel my remaining appointments. Reception is the first contact with patients and attention should be paid to them as well all sensitivity to peoples time and schedules

Sleepless nights because of neck and back pain are stressful in so many ways, and not just for one's self. The professionalism of the practitioners (known colloquially as Dr.'s J, D, and Q) is exemplary, as they explain the how's and why's of the effects of alignment on the body's health. The office itself is small, with the adjustment tables being separated from the waiting area (sporting the usual array of magazines for the adults, and a good-sized play area with plenty to keep even the most distracted child entertained) by a half wall and a fish tank. An automated system allows for a quick swipe with a key fob or card for check-in at both the front desk and the adjustment tables. They offer affordable care plans with different payment options, and, depending on which payment periodicity you choose, various discounts. I went in today feeling congested. A quick adjustment of the ears (who'd'a thunk you could adjust EARS, of all things!) and I was immediately able to breathe out of my nose once more. Amazing! Go. The first visit was a group consultation, where Dr. J went over their philosophy and their methodology. The goal was to help us understand the importance of chiropractic care. The second visit was an information gathering session. Dr. J went over my health history and used a spinal scan to pick up areas of nervous system stress. Because of my history, I also got an x-ray as well. On the third visit, Dr. J went over his findings, first making sure I understood "normal" spine alignment and neurological activity. My results weren't so awesome, but I've had back pain for a while now. Dr. J didn't present any of the results as being "scary". Everything he explained seems resolvable as long as I put the time and effort into it. After that I had my first adjustment. I will be going to the Guilderland location from now on because I live in Albany, and the drive to Ballston Spa is a haul, but I would absolutely recommend the Ballston Spa location to anybody in the area.
