The approach felt overly aggressive rather than careful. I experienced significant sedation and had a fall during the night. When I contacted the doctor afterward because I felt worse, I was told that my "body is sensitive," which felt more like an excuse than a thoughtful explanation. I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice. Clear communication, careful pacing, and individualized care are essential, and that was missing here.

He understands the turmoil of divorce and very helpful in situations that seem impossible to navigate with your ex spouse. Jeremy is skilled in working with high conflict, extreme conflict, and personality disorders. My case is a child custody/divorce that has been going through court for 3 years with no resolution. However, in 1.5 hours, Jeremy was able to get some agreements between my ex and me regarding our children. It's very volatile situation with NO CONTACT orders in place but yet, we could still come to an agreement. Dr. Gaies is a great person to turn to if your case involves high conflict or domestic violence.
