I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using Caliber Collision to anyone. My car was hit in April and I dropped my…read morecar off at Caliber in Russellville on May 7th. It had damage on the front right bumper, head light, front driver side wheel, front right fender, drivers door and step rail. On May 15th I received an update message from the Caliber text message system/front office manager saying that my car would be completed (pending) on May 30, 2025. I received a follow up message on May 20th saying that my car was still on track for May 30, 2025. A few days later on May 26th I received a message saying that they were nearing completion for my vehicle. From May 26th until July 25th I received message weekly saying that the estimated completion date was extended a few more days. On July 28th my husband and I went to check on my car and asked for an update. The Front Office Manager John Koontz's only explanation as to why my car wasn't finished was that not all the parts had arrived for it to be completed. We asked to look at my car and realized that the front fender did not fit correctly, he mentioned that the wheel was ordered but the didn't know where it was. After looking for about 10 minutes and telling us the parts guy was not in for the day, the parts guy(who had been walking past us and in the shop the entire time) appeared in the parts room and was able to show us the wheel. Mr. Koontz said that he had to order several wheels because the wheels he had ordered previously did not match the vin number on my car. He stated multiple times that my vin number was wrong for the wheels on my car and caused him to order the wheel. I explained that I bought my car from a dealership new just as it was and that everything is the same from when I bought it. I contacted the dealership and even looked for myself and the wheel is the same as my vin number or if googled the same wheel is found when you type in 2021 Ford Expedition. While we were inspecting the wheel that he had just ordered and couldn't find at first, we noticed that it had noticeable curb rash. My husband then requested that we get another wheel that was not damaged. Over the next few days I requested all paperwork/documents for my car which included all parts that had been ordered or used on my vehicle. I picked up 20-25 pages of documents on my car. Looking over this paperwork I discovered that 13 pages of parts needed for my vehicle to be completed had been ordered after the May 30th date, when I was told multiple times that my car was on track for being completed that day. When called and asked why I had received the completion date when the parts for the completion had yet to be ordered, Mr. Koontz said that they had not received the order list for the parts and tried to explain again that the wheels on my car did not match the vin number causing him to order the wrong wheel. I then asked to see the parts list for my car that he used to order parts. They were only able to provide me one parts list that had been filled out for my vehicle, but somehow they weren't able to order all of the parts at the same time. From my 20-25 pages of paperwork, he had received an initial parts list sometime in May then proceeded to order the parts over the three months of May, June and July. After discovering all of this I contacted a higher Manager Chad and discussed the issues/lies and my frustrations with my car still not being fixed. He was miraculously able to get my car fixed/completed with the right parts within a few days. I was able to pick up my car the evening of Thursday, July 31st. Chad was wonderful and his customer service was excellent! During the pick up I asked how much I would need to pay and the lady at the front desk/Lisa Karther proceeded to tell me that no payment was needed. I asked again if there was anything I needed to pay and even had my check book in hand, but Mrs. Karther insisted that nothing was due. I had already had a conversation with Mrs. Karther at drop off on May 7th that insurance had given me the initial payment. After asking the second time, she gave me paperwork to sign and handed me the keys to my vehicle. On August 29th Mrs. Karther called my husband about collecting payment that insurance had given us. She stated that we should have paid before picking up the vehicle. My husband explained that I offered to pay twice, but she had said we didn't owe anything. He then asked that an invoice be sent via email and that I would be by to pay. No invoice was ever sent, so I did not go pay. A week later Mrs. Karther called me and proceeded to say that it was our fault for not paying for the vehicle because we knew the insurance had given us the money. Again she stated that the car should not have been picked up if we hadn't given them the insurance money, to which I reminded her that I had offered to pay twice but she told me we didn't owe anything. I asked for the invoice to be sent again via email and I received it within minutes.

We were told by Josh Talburt the owner of Pud's Paint/Fab & Collision the car would be ready on Wednesday 2/15/23. I called Wednesday and was told it would be ready until Friday. When my wife and I went to pick up the car on Friday the car was covered in dust with the keys on the roof parked outside. The interior of the car was filthy with stains on the front seats. The Drivers door where the dent was looked like someone painted with a spray can. We told Josh that this was unacceptable. He said he would "Buff it out". He did. When the car was retuned to us later on Friday there was a dent that was not there Friday morning. Josh told us to bring it back and he could "PDR" the dent. I told Josh Talburt this is not where I will do business ever in the future. I have several cars that I wanted to give to him for restoration. I suggest anyone reading this to think twice before taking any vehicle to this business! I spent all day Saturday 2/18/23 cleaning up the mess that "PUD'S Paint Fab & Collision left for me. The remedy that Josh Talburt gave me was he charged me $500 instead of the agreed estimate of $750 to $800. Trust me I would rather of paid the $800 to have my car done right. This is no way to run a business. Josh Talburt's exscuses were everything from supply chain issues to "I had an emergency road service. The last exscuse on Friday was one of his workers Uncles I believe had a heart attack! Again do yourself a favor do not use this business!

Last Friday we had a deer jump in front of our 2016 Chevy 2500. We have significant damage to the front bumper, air dam and grill. Without hesitation this morning we took this one to Pud's also. He will be able to have all repairs done next week and will help us deal with insurance to file the necessary claim documents. Josh and his crew are great to work with. We highly recommend this shop for your automotive paint and repair needs!
