There wasn't an apt for over a week, which surprised me. When I went in for my apt, they were running a couple of minutes behind schedule. This is definitely not a big deal except for the fact that there were no glossy mags in sight. Not to much of an issue bc 10mins later I was in the chair having my consultation. The hairdresser (whose name I have temporarily forgotten) was lovely, very professional and phenomenal at head massages. As I mentioned, I was only in for a trim but she did a great job and the blow wave was silky smooth. She also put a shine product in my hair that made it smell devine! If I didn't already have a hairdresser that I have been using for years who I adore, I would most definitely be back!

Sam was so lovely and calm and a rarity for hairdressers - she actually did what she said she was going to! None of this "I'll only take off an inch" only to go on and hack it all away. Before Jerome, I had actually stopped dying my hair because I was sick of being disappointed after forking out a cool $250/$300 on a cut and colour that was poorly done or not what I wanted. Things were getting dire as my regrowth went past the stage where I could legitimately pass it off as balayage and so I booked an apt at Oscar & Co. I could tell Jerome was going to be great from the get go. He did a really thorough consultation before we got started and then absolutely delivered on both the cut and colour. But the cherry on top was that he asked if i'd like to come in the following week for a free blow dry, "just to check-in and see if I wanted any styling tips." What a champ! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Wairau is the type of place you visit to get things done; It's not a browsers destination, it is more a place where business is done. The young gentleman that cuts my hair is very good at what he does; he manages to cut my hair using mostly the clippers, and still manages to get a style going. The whole team is very friendly and you get to leave with a sucker or sweetie. This is how I like my hairdressers, cheap, friendly and very good.
