Our friend treated us for breakfast here one morning and I really didn't have any expectations coming in.
It was the Wednesday after Typhoon Tino hit Cebu City last November when we had breakfast here.
I was quickly impressed by the ambience of this NYC founded gourmet restaurant the second I stepped in. Merchandise was displayed by the entrance and decor was reminiscent of stores in the USA.
Our server got us samples of D&D's sourdough ube bread. We begged for more but that was it according to our waiter.
They only had the coffee drip available as the espresso. machine wasn't working due to water service disruption after the storm.
I had The Works with bacon steak, while my friends had the Angus Beef Tapa and Chorizo Kimchi Rice.
Everything was delicious. So good! I'm definitely returning when I'm back in Cebu. read more
