Located in the historic High Street of Queensferry, the Deaf Action Charity Shop is one of the few charity shops in the area. The shop, with its bright white walls and blue text on the outside, catches the attention, I would imagine, of most people passing by, however the shop itself probably does not attract those passing by inside.
The first shop window has a number of old looking picture frames and fabrics, whilst the other shop window is designed for the attention of children. However, when inside, am sure even children would find this stock dated and lacking any oomph!
This shop has the potential to be really good, however the inside is like all those other charity shops which are dated and are in the traditional charity shop mould. It is a shame as the money raised in this shop cause towards a great cause. It raises money for those who suffer from blindness, partial sight and their carers throughout the Lothian region. read more
