I opted for the Tripel Karmeliet, which was a good starter and went fine with the olives. After I polished that off, I asked for a bottle of Duchesse de Bourgogne. The bartender hesitated and asked me if I knew what it was. It happens to be one of my favourites, a sweet and very sour beer. But I do appreciate him asking; I'm sure his foresight must have saved at least one hapless drinker from an aching jaw! The prices are good and the atmosphere is relaxed. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I'm sure to visit again if I am in town.
