Though I'd never say that Dutch coffee is bad, I'd maybe say that sometimes it can lack a full flavour. So to say that in the first month since opening I've darkened KoffieTenTje's door nearly a dozen times, I'm very impressed with their coffee. The interior is friendly, earthly and modern, and the music is always good (a mix of chilled electronica and folk). The vibe very much reminds me of a less busy Five Elephants (Berlin-based coffee heaven). Lastly I have to say something about the woman who owns it; basically she's lovely. Welcoming, happy, remembers you and your order. I've chatted with her a few times, sometimes in Dutch, more often in English and she's always chatty. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The restaurant is in the perfect location from the Fletcher hotel, but I would make the trip regardless of my stay just for the food and inviting environment.
