One of my most favorite thrift stores in the world. You can find good quality furniture, decor, clothes for men/women/children, toys, games and household goods. The selection is amazing and the items are priced to sell. read more

By far this is the best consignment shop I have ever been in in the world. This store beats Paris and New York by miles. The guy who was working there (probably the owner?) was so nice to me. Very friendly guy and the store was so organized. I've never seen a consignment store that is so organized by designers. Great selections of Dries Van Noten and Margiela with amazing price. I will definitely go back to this store. In fact, I will go to Antwerp JUST for Rosier 41.

Besides the great quality in leather you can also find second hand shoes, bags, gloves, belts,…read more. in this shop. You must wonder why I am promoting this unshitty leathershop. Because not only are the prices very low, this Moroccan owner (I think) is so concerned with the quality, he often throws shitty stuff away. Or sells it in his shop for 'an apple and an egg'. How should you proceed. Listen very carefully I shall say this only once: go inside the shop, behind the first row of boots there's a gap where he keeps shoe related stuff. Then check for a bag, the shoes (or leather) that he doesn't like or that he has chosen to be not good enough, will be in this bag to eventually throw away. It is absolutely not his goal to give these things away. Mostly I take a look in the bag and act like ' my nose is bleeding' (you should really look this one op). If he sees you doing this he will tell you that the stuff in the bag is bad en garbage en then you have to ask him polite if you can have it then. His reaction is never the same. I guess you just have to be lucky. I myself found some great shoes and bags in this bag. Often with a small defect and easily fixable. But It's very important to do this subtle, do not come by every week so that he doesn't get annoyed. Another shitty review by the shitty guide of Antwerpen.

They also had lots of interesting jewellery and accessories, an "okay" selection of shoes/boots, and some gorgeous handbags that definitely tested my willpower. I also really appreciated the laid-back, yet friendly, attitudes of the staff. I'm usually a grab and go kind of shopper, but I was probably in there for a good half hour and felt totally comfortable taking my time to browse the (neatly) jam-packed racks and try on items.

However, if you can't afford the pieces over at the Dries van Noten flagship store, I suggest checking out the many vintage stores on Nationalestraat. One of those stores is Jutka en Riska, which I found through some quick online research. They had a wide selection of vintage designer clothing items, mainly Belgian designers of course, for reasonable prices. Make sure to check out their jewelry section as well.
