(hello, Moeder Lambic) I was staying at an airbnb where my front entrance opened up to the Grote Markt. I started my day looking on the Yelp app for a good brunch spot. I came across Jam as one of my searches, they place did not disappoint. I ordered the Royal Bouncer which was a fried egg with that gooey yolk goodness dripping down. I had a coffee and enjoyed my early afternoon by people watching and seeing the tram go by every several minutes. The service was friendly and I can see locals and the hip come here for brunch since the dishes looks awesome for that 'gram.

We waited 20-30 minutes for a menu, and probably placed our order 1 hour into our meal. When our food finay came, they forgot my food. Luckily, they were able to get my Kheema skillet to me in about 5 minutes, and they were very apologetic. The food tasted great, so I would definitely visit again sometime.

The location is in the student neighbourhood at the ossenmarkt. There is place to sit inside, but it is not very cosy or attractive. The same can be said for the outside patio, it's not a place you'd think about 'let's just stay here for a while'. On to the food, the Master-sandwich I would'nt really describe as master. The things is, it is a good sandwich, fresh ingredients, but the combination of the salad, tuna, parma ham, it was a bit much. Sometimes less outspoken tastes together works better. Also, prices are confusing, the price on the menus are different from you'd pay in the end, I suppose that is because of the kin of bread you choose. I can imagine one would go here when close by but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place again.
