Coolest market in Brussels! A friend invited me to join her a few years ago and now that I live in…read morethe city, with the market close by, I love going just about every weekend! Good to find produce for cheap, although beware that if the deal is very good, the produce might be good quality at the time but may go bad quickly, so only buy cheap foods that can be eaten within a day or two. You really can find anything here from foods, plants to electronics and fake perfumes (not sure if I'd trust the 2 latter items but hey, that's just me!)
Tip: at one of the stands that sells olives, they sell wraps with a mix of olives/everything else along with some cheese--get this at least once!! It's delicious along with some Moroccan sweet tea! Filling for lunch and only sets you back 5 eur...best to get there sooner in the morning/lunch time as the line quickly gets to be very long and you have a difficult time finding a place to sit and eat!
