Good dentist but parking can be difficult as it is street parking. HCF partner so members get discounts and free cleans and check ups.

I came into the Nerang office approximately On the 17th of April, during the level 3 restrictions…read more I had a molar chip away very badly down to the nerve. It was honestly some of the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced if I accidentally bit down on that side. I rang multiple offices on the Gold Coast and ultimately chose this one due to the price. I rang them up and was very clear with the receptionist what it was that I wanted done. She informed me that, that would not be a problem and my appointment was set. Upon arriving there nothing was said to me about anything else being done other than my tooth being pulled. I went into the back, sat down and was informed that they couldn't do any extraction right now due to the level 3 restrictions. I was then told that they would just do a temporary filling that would last a few month until the restrictions had been lifted and then we could move forward. I was a little upset that this was not said to me before over the phone. However my tooth hurt and I just wanted to get it fixed as soon as possible. They took an x-ray and discovered just how badly the tooth was damaged. Proceeded to inject the anaesthetic and waited. Once it felt that it was numb enough the dentist started. I instantly felt pain and made it known by moaning out loud and gripping the armrests of the chair firmly. They stopped and proceeded to administer another shot. After a few minutes the doctor started again. I didn't feel anything at first. As he continued I started to feel pain again. I displayed the same signs as before but the Dentist continued. I decided to suck it up and just continue on as I wanted to get the whole experience done and over with as soon as possible. Upon completion he again informed me that the temporary filling should last me a number of months until the restrictions were lifted. I paid my money and then left. Fast forward to last night (14 May). I was walking through Woolies when I went to close my mouth down and felt something out of the ordinary on the molar that was repaired. Down below are pictures of the piece of molar as well as some of the filling that fell out less than a month after the work was done. I was extremely upset about this. I rang this office (despite being after hours, more to follow on that) and rang the emergency line. I was very clear and concise in regards to my discrepancy and express the urgency in which I needed a call back. No one returned my calls or even so much as texted me. Then we have this morning. No call back, no message at all. I ring up the practice and attempt to explain why I'm calling. After being on the phone for nearly 10 minutes (2 of which I was actually able to get a word in). I finally explained to the lady that I was trying to be polite, however I am very upset and would greatly appreciate reparations for the issue. I explained to her what I felt would be a suitable resolution (said tooth to be extracted, a dental block and that it be free of charge). I also asked her if that was something she could and that if she couldn't to please save us both some time and just answer "yes or no". She proceeded to go on to say something else. I informed her that I would be posting my experience on Google. She informed me that I couldn't because what I was told and what I experienced was wrong. Take a look at the pictures for yourself and make a sound decision based up on that. I will NEVER pay for any services from this office ever again and I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for dental work to be done of the GC to avoid this place like the plague.
