It's more restaurant than anything else and the staff need to shift up a gear if it's ever going to succeed. Don't open for brunch if you aren't going to acknowledge the fact that guests are there wanting it! Starter was beyond any expectation of chicken and chips - it was actually chicken fried in potato and tasted phenomenal. Crispy and flaky and fresh with a kick. They were delivered to the table with a tin of wasabi peas and local baked bread rolls with were a great touch. Moving onto mains - beef was tender and cooked medium exactly how I'd asked. Delicious all round. Finale was carrot cake. Steamy, sticky and finished with a freshly burnt meringue topping it was a dream. Honestly this place will be famous it's only a matter of time. Only open a month and running like clockwork, great vibe and fantastic food / staff. If you're here you NEED to go!
