We have never stayed anywhere where we were treated with such kindness. The INN is family owned and operated and they care about making you happy. This is not a place to stay if you are looking for fancy gadgets and shiny decor but if you are looking for somewhere to relax, feel safe, that is CLEAN, with a rustic, country setting this is it. They have Bible studies and gospel signings for their guest. In each room there are books that were put together by the owner that tell about they area and also have some very interesting and beautiful stories! We will definitely be going back and I want the owners to know what an impact they made on us by showing that there are still good people in this world!

We have done our annual family reunion for 60+ family from multiple states for several years now. We rent the pavilion for suppers together and meet at the waterpark or any of the many pools for family time together. This year our extended family of 15 stayed in house #41 for the first time. It is fairly new, really beautiful, and with the very best kitchen we have found anywhere in our travels. Huge and super-well equipped. Mattresses were all great and everyone slept well all four nights. Only negative about this beautiful home is that there are no bedrooms on the main level so everyone has to either go upstairs or downstairs for sleeping. Also the driveway is a bit challenging but we navigated it well with our Armada and were able to park two cars in the garage. Garage needs a step to help guests climb up into the house but we all managed. Front door is very easy access if guests want to avoid the very tall step from the garage. Also pet friendly which is very rate at CBR. We would definitely rent this one again!

Buyer most definitely beware. I took my family there for Thanksgiving in hopes of a comfortable…read moregetaway. Here's what we found.... 1) When we reserved the room there was no mention of the lake level being lowered. When we arrived the owner informed us that's the way it is every year. Obviously intentionally omitted from the property description or on the phone during reservation. 2) All the piers are rotten and falling in at a number of places. The photos on the site that include the piers are obviously well outdated. They are Not safe. 3) The cabins are not on the water. They are about 100 ft from the water and there are old dilapidated trailers between the cabins and where the water would be when it's elevated. 4) We stayed in cabin 1, it was musty smelling and the beds felt like they were at least 25 years old. 5) The cabins are advertised as sleeping 4. They do, however, the common space is not big enough for 4 people. 1 small loveseat and chair. We stood most of the time so the kids could sit. 6) I asked if there was a place to build a fire, the spot the owner referred to was a pile of wood refuse they had piled up from trying to fix things around the place and there was a 40 gallon plastic trash can next to the burn pile with rotting fish guts. Honestly, disgusting is an understatement. 7) We reserved 3 nights, after the 1st night it was painfully obvious we could not stay another night. I called the owner and respectfully said this was not what we were expecting and had to leave... with acute apathy she responded 'Ok then'. When I asked about any refund, she said 'nope, sorry'. We spent $350 on this place, we couldn't afford to go anywhere else. We returned home. This place is not what it appears to be in the photos. My advice is to go there and see it before you give these people any money. We intend on filing a consumer complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
