This place is a rip off, and they are total jerks, Don't go here! They sell inferior product, bent and twisted wood, wood with chunks out of it, hide it in a pile, then when you get home, find it and try to return it the owner/manager goes off on you - "I am sick and tired of people being picky" he screamed before throwing a bunch of F words my way. I told them on in advance that on this job the wood had to be straight. I told them what the wood was for in advance. I tried to return one piece that was badly twisted and almost got assaulted!!! This place will waste your money, sell you crap, then get aggressive and try to attack you when you want the product you thought you were buying, straight wood, wood without large cracks, especially in critical places like on the ends, wood without large chunks out of the edges. DO NOT GO TO DAY LUMBER!!! read more

These guys were great! I walked in, placed my order. They jumped on pulling the lumber and cutting it to size. The guys even worked hard loading the plywood in my Cherokee for me. What didn't fit, they held by the office for me to come back and pick up. Great customer service and the Pagosa spirit of being friendly and helpful. read more

I completely disagree with the other review. This is the most unfriendly, negative and unprofessional group of "business" people I have ever encountered. High prices and watch out if you have them deliver your lumber. If there's any substandard pieces that you ask to have replaced they cop a major attitude. Don't bother with these nasty rednecks who can't even muster up a smile or pleasant greeting when you walk in. Check out Ponderosa or Alpine in Durango instead At least they'll treat you with some respect and courtesy. read more
